I was watching his progress on ShotTracker. Seems to have scrambled really well apart from the par 5 7th. Hope that doesn't end up causing a missed cut.

Yes tied 67th with still 11 of the players at -2 on the course. I'm expecting it to go to -3 with conditions and scoring so good.

Top 70 pro's and tied.

If more than 78 make the cut they use the same criteria after round 3 as well.

Tad Ridings bogeyed his 17th so he drops back to -2 (tied 70 now).
Tianlang is on -3 so it's top 71 and ties really.

69th now with 7 of the -2 still on the course.

Very similar to last week, Parnevik missed a short putt to bring 22 others in Saturday. PGA must be pulling their hair out at the thought of a repeat

Im more optimistic than I was half an hour ago, there's a few on -2 actually going the wrong way today. Tied 70th now but only 3 of the -2's still on the course. 1 unders are a threat also but similarly you could get some of the -3's falling back. Fingers crossed!

Too close to call. Tied 69th right now with four players on -2 still to complete their rounds. Fabian Gomez sank a 35 footer on the 18th about an hour ago to get to 3 under. That could end up being the difference between Lowry making it and him missing the cut.

Chalmers just holed a 19 footer on the last to go -3.

Tied 70 now with 2 players on -2 playing the par 5 - 7th (their 16th) together.

Edit: One got the birdie so tied 71st now.

Greg Chalmers just finished with 3 birdies to go to 3 under, including an 18 footer on the 18th. Lowry now tied 70th with 2 players on -2 still to finish. Looking doubtful.

23 players tied 71st on -2 Im sure the organisers would rather not have these guys teeing it up in round 3. Only one of these still on the course. Going down to Luke List in the final group Assuming of course that the amateur doesn't count :P

Edit: List has put his approach stone dead on his 17th, good night!

I see Shane is drawn in a group with George Coetzee and Peter Hanson for this week's tournament in Bulgaria. Tough opponents.

Nice tournament to get into, only 24 man field.

Not a bad draw,neither of his opponents have been in great form lately (bit like himself).

Hopefully he gets to play 1 game Thursday and Friday and not have to play 2 in the one day until Saturday
