Hey just wondering what are the best wide body aircraft to buy first when getting started on long haul flights? i currently have a few vickers vanguards and MD-80's, and they are making a decent profit. should be able to start buying bigger aircraft so any advice appreciated!

I went the 757-300 route. I think they are a great price at just over $7million and you should get $600000 per flight. They carry a large number of passangers 243 and the distance is quite good. I prefer boeing over airbus in this game. alot of people are the other way inclined.

1000 posts on a facebook app who would've guessed

This should be a sticky, lets be honest most people who visit the avation forum post on this topic. This game is the biggest airline game of 09.

For the 7 mill price range this is the right plane to go for.........
The airbus's have better planes at different price levels.

Sorry to hear that. I wont be buying the same amount of planes daily for the next while but what I will be buying is significent. 1 A380-800 and 1 A340-200. Should increase share prices significently on a daily basis.

Have not many routes but have now nearlly upgraded all my planes to jet planes from my old prop ones also with higher capacity and have 2 planes fying each route (appparently saves a packet on the advertising :) )

gonna start getting some good long haul flights going on shortly

I just went and doubled up two planes on the same route but still had to pay for the advertising separately for the second plane?

Well I decided to dispose of the thirsty MD-80s and DC-9s and replace all with 737-700. Careful planning and buying right, and the fleet is up to 7 737-700 all doing max range flights up to 6000km. Advertising has come down in price so I bought 5 days worth. I also have just under 3M lbs of fuel in the tanks.

Over the next 2 weeks, I should be in a position to purchase a new 737 every 2 days. I have timed all the flights circa 7 hours, that they are in the air when I am asleep, and will fly when I get up. With this planning, I should have the fleet doing 6 sector days every 7ish hours.

Stock at .46, so I would take this chance to buy some stock and watch it go up over the next few weeks! Next purchase will be in 48 hours.

    LINKAER Airlines.

With this mornings launch of the fleet Spideog Airlines has now passed the $1 share price point, actually at $1.07 now. Should have enough fuel in the tanks to last tomorrows pending crisis with the fuel markets, but at the sae time will hopefully b able to add yet more B737-700's to the fleet at the same time. This is our current set of planes:

    B737-800 x 1
    MD80 x 9
    BAe146 x 12
    B737-700 x 6
    DHC-8-Q300 x 6

    Did this come from?
Can it be found in the game, or is it on the developer's site?
