It's one of the dyanamic motion blur lines that appear around a bunch of attacks to make them look cooler. It's been placed badly in that animation though and will probably be gone in the next build.

That esgn fight night thing was unwatchable.
Classy use of women too.

I turned it off within 10 mins of the first episode.
what's the story behind it; genesis, stakeholders, future etc?

They'll be cancelling it after the next season if it doesn't get the viewers they are hoping for.

What do you guys want. Morgran Freeman commentary

A shame it might be cancelled because people arent happy James Chen isnt commentating. Lecturing us on how to use the select button to plink!

Tasteless has done great. Commentating isnt ez. Try it and you'll have more appreciation in for those that give it a bash like tasteless

Best thing about ESGN is Tasteless.
It's really good, it would just be better if they didn't try so hard.

Filling those gaps out of the blue would certainly be a pretty phenomenal way to dispel the bad taste in people's mouths.

Oh, before I forget!

Had a quick blast at Ultra over the weekend, here's a quick synopsis of Fei in this version.

-Light Rekka is really laughable range, but it's still a viable poke.
-Damage and I think slight range buff to Cr.Mp is welcome, and still CH combo's into Lp Rekka.
-Chicken Wing juggling 3 hits and Ultra 1 juggling on hits 1, 3 and 5 on all characters it would seem, really good buff for Fei.
-Didn't get to play around with Tenshin much, but from what I noticed the EX version seems to reach farther.
-Not being able to gatling Cr.Lk does hurt a bit, especially trying to pressure in corner.

Of course, I'm just confirming what you've all read before anyway!

I would say Fei will still be very much tournament viable, but Chun and Ryu are still going to dominate this version I think.

Oh and Poison is sick too.

It doesn't.

I heard the name of the show, looked it up watched one episode and switched it off. And I'm already into fighting games.

People want this stuff to go mainstream so badly but everytime someone tries, and injects money, they end up losing what made it great in the first place.

Good to hear they have made tried to fix it though.
And if you enjoy it as is grand, but i ain't gonna watch it, and that's not the same thing as hoping it fails.

There's signs and ads up in all the major arcades now, I'll be interested to see what kind of crowds in can draw in. ATM it's very hit and miss depending on the day

I'd say people wouldn't bother with 2012 when they know Ultra is on its way.
