WiiU version. Still don't feel like I've gotten my moneys worth out of that console yet to be moving on to a new one

It holds up really well. Some framerate drops which can be an annoyance but it was to be expected.

Breath of the Wild really is something else. It's like they took Ico/SOTC, mixed it with some Dark Souls lite and threw on a Zelda skin. Just fantastic!

More on the warpless super mario Bros saga. Got to 7-3 this time which is like the first cheep cheep level but with enemies on the bridge. Had about 4 lives but got bukkaked by cheep cheep. I know world 8 is disgustingly hard so I need to do better.

I'm back playing Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts on the SNES. I'm enjoying revisiting it apart from the flying red b@stards, they can go and fcuk right off.:mad:

I cleaned the Dreamcast power supply recently so have that back up and running, am playing through Shenmue again, I want my 11 year old to see what it was all about.

Love the game, such a shame about the slowdown that plagued some of the early snes titles.

Not entirely sure if it is considered retro just yet but I've been playing through Batman the Brave and the Bold on the Wii. I really like the animation and the presentation in general is very good. Gameplay is very simple but still fun in short bursts.

It's a great game by wayforward and sadly over looked.

Recently I realised that I'd never actually finished Alisia Dragoon, a game that was bought for me when I was 8.

I can remember getting to the final level as a kid but either dying there or dying on the boss.

Thought I'd fire it up and finish it off - not so straightforward apparently! I had mad muscle memory for 90% of the game, could pretty much do it with my eyes closed, but got massacred on the final level!

Quite surprised by that, going to give it another go this eve.

Heh, I can remember playing my Aunt's Atari 2600 and thinking it looked archaic compared to my super modern Megadrive.
