Jebus ****in J. Christ! I cannot believe this is here again. Who cares? Oh noes I've been banned/infracted/warned about something I did on the Internet! If it's a site you care about then it's your own fault for breaking the rules, if it's not then **** off you're a muppet. My attitude towards mods is the same as my attitude toward people irl; I leave them alone , they leave me alone. Not being a wanker is easier than you think.

There are often whinges of "Boards.ie is unionist and anti republican and you can't express a point of view that's sympathetic to republican ideology", yet the latter is pretty much all I post in Politics.
Posting comments that may as well be "Up the 'ra" is what will get you banned - this does not mean Boards.ie is anti republican.

As for the obsession with mods, plenty of mods (most I'd wager) get to know the place after a while as a member and are then happy to get that bit more involved, nothing more sinister than that.
