Bless harmonix they are saving me a fortune by releasing this tripe.

    DLC 29 june :

    Nickelback 6 pack:
    “Burn It to the Ground”
    “Figured You Out”
    “Never Again”
    “Photograph”
    “Rockstar”
    “This Afternoon”

Karma for Harmonix. They have dissed the band twice publicly since Rock Band has come out and are now releasing DLC for it for their games.

Probably going to be a very good seller too!!

Never heard of the vines onion? pfffff kids these days.

Guess the 1st album from 2001 was their only big big success but that song ride was on the early ipod ads here too.

No 'get free' in the pack or anything from vision valley, Don't Listen To The Radio would have been sweet :(

The Ozzy's have some great bands I'd love to see in rock band, any one ever hear of Bodyjar? They had some stuff in the early Tony Hawk games, they would be great as DLC http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmpJQmR9l0Q actually the guy has the whole THPS 3 soundtrack there , score!!!!! Takes me back that does :D

You'll be waiting until September I'd say, his new album is due then. Was it mentioned anywhere that we were getting PC or Genisis DLC?

I don't think so. A Genesis/solo mixture would be nice though! A number of his famous songs feature piano heavily, that'd suit 3 pretty well.

1st time in a while I have been both surprised and delighted and ungrateful because of the song selected.
    Blondie – “Rapture”
    dc Talk – “Jesus Freak”
The Decemberists – “The Perfect Crime # 2”
Eagles of Death Metal – “I Only Want You” +
    Eels – “Saturday Morning” +
Family Force 5 – “Love Addict”
    KMFDM – “Sturm & Drang”
    La Roux – “Bulletproof” +

Never in a million years thought I'd see the Decemberists in RB , one of my favourite bands :) Shakes fist HMX over the song they picked though.

Deffo gonna pick up the Family Force 5 song, love me some christian rock crunk

Bulletproof is an odd one to be releasing pre RB3 as there is no guitar to speak of and it's very 'keys friendly'

I'd imagine at this point they begun hiding the piano tracks in their new DLC? Just a guess really. Nothing there I want tbh, been AGES since I've seen a release and said MUST HAVE.

They have been hiding the piano for a while, they said as much as one of the e3 interviews I saw. Bulletproof will be great on keys and vocals. Eels, FF5 and decemberists all must haves for me eventually, But ill be spending my points on Castlevania this week I think :)

Well I was wrong about no guitar on the La Roux song

The charted the keys for guitar and it looks like a tricky one too

This one will be hella fun in RB3 with proper keys

    Free Song Alert

Saw one today called "Rock Band Network Megamix 01" - for free :)
It's a mash up of stuff from the rock band network but is on the regular music store so available to all with a gold live account.

I didn't see it listed on the game's store but it is listed on xbox.com if you look under rock band store.

They will hit the 2000 songs mark next week

The 2000th song will be "Are you experienced" by Jimi Handrix

On a dlc note , picked up How We Operate by Gomez earlier (it's on RBN) something like that surely deserves to be on proper marketplace?

Next week 19th Nov is a cracker for me :)
Stone Temple Pilots – “Big Empty”
    Stone Temple Pilots – “Crackerman”
    Stone Temple Pilots – “Creep”
Stone Temple Pilots – “Dead & Bloated”
Stone Temple Pilots – “Huckleberry Crumble”
Stone Temple Pilots – “Trippin’ on a Hole in a Paper Heart”
Jimmy Eat World – “Bleed American”
Jimmy Eat World – “My Best Theory” +
    Jimmy Eat World – “Pain”

I am predicting Doors, Rush, Bon Jovi, and Billy Joel in the next 4 weeks ;)

  • Moderators Posts: 8,678 ✭✭✭D4RK ONION

I'll get "Trippin' on a hole" to continue my "construct a GH2 set list in RB" mission :) I could leave everything else though.

Dude , all the best bands played the sfx was 1000ish capacity venue / bingo hall over near dorset st. I'm cough 30 and saw , sepultura, machine head, pantera, biohazard (all 10 minutes of it ) megadeth (euthanasia tour) Alice in chains , Korn when they came on played the 1st album said nothing and walked off , placebo when they was still good, skunk anansie, Smashing pumpkins before they turned **** . Green day on the nimrod tour, offspring on the pretty fly for a nice guy buzz actually i think that was the last gig I was at there.

Edit: The time Butron C bell from Fear Factory nearly ripped arm off pulling me over the barrier lol good times

Edit Edit : Dave Gothl from foo fighters wearing the hat I threw up on stage when they toured the 1st abum there. :D

Not a bon jovi fan but boy do I like their songs in RB , was only thinking the other day how cool it would be to get Bad Medicine :)

Not sure if I want to get the ones I already have just for the added keys though.

And that's 3 out of 4 for my predictions that have come out so on that form surely we'll be getting Billy Joel next
