It looks like the aerial needs to be amplified.

I ended up installing a glass mounted aerial in mine as reception was very poor, now I have the opposite problem I get several duplicates of every station - a good complaint though :) I havn;t had reception like that since a philips radio in 1992.

Purchased this car radio in Lidl and installed it in 1999 Mitsubishi Carisma. Works fine except there seems to be some interference on the radio reception when the car engine is running. Previous radio has a clearer reception. Many many years ago it was necessary to fit suppressors to the plugs to avoid this type of intereference, but I thought more recent cars & radios had dealt with this problem. Has anyone else encountered this problem and how was it resolved.

its not a suppressor issie, your stereo or stereo cage or wiring is earthing somewhere - pull it out and have a good look, its an earthing issue you have. Hope this helps.:pac:

How did you reslove this issue withthe battery? I got a new battery but that went also. The car is not used much but the battery should not drian like that.

Thats pretty weird, as its a Punto I'm driving too. Sorted the battery, but need to rev the car loads now to get it started.

Resolved it by removing the stereo and putting back the old one! Can't figure out why it happened.

Make sure, you do not have permanent positive on connection 4 of the ISO Block but Ignition positive (see manual).

Purchased the KH2375 bluetooth radio from Lidl a while ago ...

The car is '92 and wasn't fitted with an ISO connection. Got one from Maplins and connected it according to schematic on the radio manual.
The radio works fine, memorises and finds stations. The graphic equalizer displays as if normal output, but ... there is no sound.

Had a friend have a look. He is a more knowledgeable about car electrics than I am (:D) and he did not know what is wrong either...

Got the unit replaced under warranty and still getting no sound.

Note : the speakers work with another radio that was fitted in the car previously.

I would be forever thankful if someone could help :o

Hey I bought the lidl radio with the bluetooth today. After reading all the comments about the sound levels n that the microphone is not built in, Im a bit apprehensive now whether or not to install it.
I clicked on the link for the aldi ones which do look better but they are not in this Sunday! That link for the aldi page is for June 2009!
Anyone know if aldi will actually be getting them in soon.

I bought the Lidl Radio the last time it was on Offer. I was able to attach the microphone to the steering wheel column - felt it is closer to you for speaking than an integrated microphone.

I bought this radio last thusday and heres my problem.

My car is a 96-98, mk 2 Seat Ibiza, in my old cd player I swaped the yellow and red wires in the ISO adapter (I think thats what its called) so that the auxillary power would keep my preset memory station held when the car is switched off!

With this radio there is no need for an adapter, as you plug the car ISO straight into the radio.

Is it safe to swap the wires in the car ISO or must I go and buy an adaptor and swap the wires in that?
