So, anybody up for removing Optimus Prime from the robo-league? The whole having a device which can make virtually anything possible kind of makes him more or less invunerable.
Unless it is decided that it exclusively movie Optimus, who has no such device.
On that note, which Megatron is it? There have been like 50

I reckon if we use movie Optimus who doesn't posess the Matrix it should be ok. I mean the guy has two big shootas and twin energy axes of death (not to mention face ripping hooks) and he ability to turn into a truck. He should be able to hold his own without it.

Go ahead make the rule about Ash not having the Necronomicon as well. People will just complain when he unleashes the Army of Darkness with it.

If we're talking G1 Prime, then after "The Return of Optimus Prime: Part 2" the matrix is just an empty shell as its energy was completely expended to cure the hate plague.

That immediately started refilling though.

I dunno, I like the kinda "battle monk" prime. Like Morpheus. You lose alot of the character when thats gone.

Maybe powermaster prime? Original G1 prime, plenty of power buffs, no Matrix?

Right lads, if you can okay this format, then this will start later on today;

• There are 6 Leagues
• They won't run concurrently. There will be a total of 7 threads; one for each League and then a Discussion thread. It would be a bit of a mess if 7 threads were open at the same time, by running them one-by-one there will only be 2 threads open at a time; the League and the Discussion thread.
• 9 Characters in each League.
• Each Character gets 2 battles each in the league.
• 16 Characters will go through to the knock-out stages. The Top 3 of the Superheroes, Monster/Vampire, Magical Powers [working title] and Supervillains will qualify for the last 16. The Top 2 in Humans and Robots/Cyborgs will qualify for the last 16.
• If by the end of a League there are ties then these characters will be pitted against each other in a "Sudden Death" battle.
• Reasons always have to be given when voting. This is not to say you have to write a compelling argument, it could be one line; as long as you give a reason the vote will stand.
• The first to 6 votes will win the battle.
• 3 pts will be allocated to those who are victorious in the League Battles.
