Ok granted this one isn't technically a bike or accessories that would go out with me, but it's still invaluable! In the days of Google Maps and GPS I still think there's still nothing quite like a big map on the wall! :) Have been determined to get a North Wicklow one for the last year and finally organised it a few weeks ago. They're dirt cheap from OSI (without any folds) and the only real cost is getting one properly framed! Perfect way to discover new routes - highly recommend it!

Thanks, it's my pride and joy :) Huge step up from the high nelly but I'm loving it.
Got it from Www.salden.nl They were great to deal with. I must have wrecked their heads with the amount of questions I asked over a period of about 6 weeks between first enquiring about a different bike and finally buying that one. It's a size M so afaik it's 54. Fits me grand, I'm about 5'9 on a tall day

Ordered an on-sale power2max last week as well, right after I'd paid for new wheels. Throw in a rainjacket, few nutrition bits and some new bottles, and this month is going to be tight!

Mine said "What's that?" when I appeared back with a bike frame sized box. "Oh, that's just Raam's." I said. "The new bike?" she asked. "Yes, but not the one you are thinking of." "Another one?" Nodded reply. Roll of the eyes...

Bad me - just pulled the trigger on a pair of shamal ultras from bike-palast.com. OK, so my other wheels are teeny bit off-true, and a pain to work with (campys, have to take off the rim tape and mess about with nipples from that side), but 40 quid to the LBS would probably have them spot on.

They just look so nice, and if they make me 3kmph faster they'll be worth it!.

Got them, fitted them (25mm Conti GP400s), rode them. Lovely.

Are they actually faster/smoother than Neutron Ultras? Hard to say...maybe a little bit on the flats, but no different, I think, on the uphills. Descend cheerfully enough, not too harsh (maybe thanks to the 25s).

That's my visa card maxed out till Christmas

That cassette is a bit pricey, normally they're around the €38 mark.

Yeah could've got it cheaper elsewhere but wanted to give them some business as they're Irish and it was handier to place one order for all the bits I wanted.

I got my green swisstops and cassette/ chain from SCR aswell, great service.

I have just ordered these Ron Kitching and MKM decals to stick onto a bike that's not even steel or has thin enough tubes.
I'm not sure what happened, but all of a sudden I was emailing a company and paying by paypal.

Got an email from swimcyclerun apologising as butyl tubes were sent in the order instead of latex ones.
The latex tubes arrived today so I mailed them offering to send back the butyl tubes but they said "no need, hang on to them" :)
