i was just wondering is there a irish national party if there was i think i would join no bother immigration what immigration have you seen our towns and citys lately full of nigeraians gangsters and romanian beggers all this goverment is doing is creating no go areas for normal decent irish people can no ono else see this i didnt mind people coming when there was work most of them hav gone home i worked with lots of lads and got on well with but this crowd are different nigerians wont work they just drive around with there flash cars gold dripping off them gold theet new house what ever they want and the gyspys they just beg its there religion how are they getting in is there no one asking questions at ports our country is on its knees if anyone knows of a party sharing my views can u let me no

If the BNP type party was in Ireland and advertised heavily they would do very well. At this moment in time Ireland is very very xenephobic, be interesting when they release the next EU report on racism and xenephobia in EU, I found one from 2000 and Ireland was 5th, and without a doubt this has risen in the past 2 years.

In the minds of the working class it is ingrained into them that 'the foreigners'(probably worse than the word '******' tbh when coming from the mouth of an uneducated dub) are out to get them, Irelands always been like this just the only group really to target was the travellers. This fear of foreigners probably stems from our overly nationalistic society, we're told that its great to be irish, how the world loves us blah blah blah without doing anything to deserve a good reputation.

Now obviously a country doesn't become wonderfully tolerant over night, hell in the usa black people were being treated like **** 300 years after they first arrived, and ireland is experiencing what countries like france and uk had 50 years ago in much shorter time period but it doesn't exuse the behaviour of substantial proportion of irish society.

Its not even like we have had mass immigration of immigrants who don't want to integrate like in Denmark, or incidents like the london bombings. Our immigrants are mainly economic ones, just need to look at the small % of young Muslims here as an example of this.
