Why doesn't everyone draw ms paint images of what they're seeing and you can compare? Over-sized boobies and willies for bonus marks
Paint is too complicated for me. I PAINT MY PICTURES WITH WORDS, DAMN IT.

    word willy?

    word willy?

I thought we were supposed to be describing what we can see? How depraved do you think the arts block is?
    Also, Norrdeth might ban me.=(

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,034 ✭✭✭rcaz

That was a real good comeback.

Luckily my sarcasm compiler is running fine.

I feel this may be one of the best posts I've read on boards.

Also, this thread is now 3. They grow up so quick ;_; <3

Could anyone tell me what the clubs and societies are like in Maynooth? I'm hoping to come in September and while I'm excited, I'll probably be going alone. Do many people join the clubs and societies by themselves, or would it be very awkward turtle?

Loads of people will be going to Maynooth knowing nobody (I was one of them a few years ago too), so definitely don't be worried on that front. I think clubs and socs are an amazing way to get to know people! Obviously I'm going to be a bit biased as I help run two socs, but they can really help with getting settled into college. There will be loads of new people joining them at the start of the year too, so it won't be awkward :) is there anything specific you would like to join/have an interest in? There might be a boardsie involved that can tell you what they're like.

Me and kellief were in the parade earlier, helping out with the Larine Court float (the pirates, if any of you were at it). It was brilliant!

    gym open tomorrow?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,625 ✭✭✭How so Joe

Well, was it? Is it open today?

Also, it's totally not a bank holiday today, as I have been told several times.

    Also, FE-1s, go DIE.

Well since Paddy's day fell on a Saturday, your technically correct, but most places take the next available weekday after off to comply with the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997.

Unless of course you place of work was open on the bank holiday and you only work part time. in which case the rules are different.

Yep, that's the deal with me. Worked on Saturday, but anyone rostered in today got a bit huffy because they're not getting bank holiday pay for today.
I'm happy, though, I got the extra pay on Saturday. :pac:

I need it to be a bank holiday to justify putting off studying another day

    Tis mighty justification!
Now I just need to think of ways to put off doing the washing!

not much good to me, I've an exam tomorrow. But either way, it is a holiday today, so you can justify not studying.

Excuses for not doing the washing, though... The machine is broken? The sun is broken? You've run out of powder?
An elephant stood on your washing machine?

Is there anyway for me to access files I have saved on my college computer account from home?

Or is there anyone out there who I deem trustworthy to do an ickle job for me?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,005 ✭✭✭howsyourtusk

I will not delete your porn stash of the PACR computers. Sorry :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,625 ✭✭✭How so Joe

The stapler in the Arts block PACR is very strange. Very good, though.

Any news on the couch shifters?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 912 ✭✭✭Norrdeth

    Schiftin' and dhriftin' hai.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,625 ✭✭✭How so Joe

I would assume they've gone home to canoodle somewhere else during reading week.
There's very few people on the couches today. Still enough to make me feel guilty for taking a two-hour lunch, though.
