thank you for not commenting but confirming my greatest fears. Guess I'll have to stick to making my own wedges (equally nom but not quite an on-the-go kinda snack)

On another note, I love Loftus Hall. Maybe I read too much Harry Potter, I really do feel like I'm in Hogwarts on the South Campus. The hot invigilator(s) are a bonus too ;)

+1 on the hot invigilators in loftus today! Makes exams slightly less terrible ;)

Actually Dunnes is incredibly hygienic, there's nothing to worry about, you wouldn't believe the amount of rules etc...and they all get gold stars!

When were you in loftus today?

Loftus is fantastic. I love invigilating there. Time passes quicker. Maybe cause you can see outside!

Did my Irish oral today, only a week late.
honest to god just forgot to go in last Tuesday, madness.

That is why I love NUIM. Any other college and they'd tell you to feck off. Basically said "you get your stuff in on time, grand" and it was that easy. If you meet them half-way they're all fine.

Between half 3 and half 5!

I like having exams there. Nicer than the sports hall anyway!

I overheard someone talking about giving them giving a couple of extra seconds to people to finish sentences and such... Maybe it wasn't there though. I didn't even know they had exams on in JH... I thought that was open for studiers?

So do they kick everyone out or do they just go to a quiet corner?

How do you mean? The first floor is completely taken over by exams. The ground floor you can probably study on. We dont get to kick anyone though, sadly :(

Ah I was thinking about just JH1, my bad.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,081 ✭✭✭LeixlipRed

Nah, it's not set up for exams. You cant walk around. But I like the kicking idea. All I need is some sort of giant boot like the prime minister of australia has...

Can't believe how little I know for today's exam...Fail anthro? How embarrassing.

  • Registered Users Posts: 298 ✭✭BuroniKiisu

Anthropology seems to be one that a good few people are afraid of in First Year. Not because it's difficult (it actually sounds pretty easy to honest...) but because a) they literally weren't arsed to be anything for it 'til the VERY last minute and b) they didn't attend the lectures 99% of the time.

    Tut-tut, tut-tut.

I'm a second year, different kettle of fish.
