Just leveling out the field, if it were a woman posting a man bashing thread, the denizens of AH would be all over it like a flannel.
Well in a typical sexist/misogynistic view, yes ignorance of sport is girly.

This isn't a view I share by the way,
as I say posted in jest,

    always in jest...

not a sexist I tell ya...

    no misogyny here I swear!:D

So men likw Quazzie who are ignorant of sport are girly also? :)

Was walking down the road with two mates.

One of mates spots a dead bird and goes: "Oh look, a dead bird"

My other friend, the girl, says : "Where?" and looks up into the sky.

We couldn't stop laughing at her for hours. :pac:

No, neither would I, but I would imagine B*witched were liked more by girls than boys, but it doesn't make you a stereotypical ignorant 'bloke' to not give a toss.

Don't think this story makes the person stupid in any way, but it was still funny.
Boy A "Best mate was put down"
    Girl A (me) "Aw that's a shame"
Girl B (very shocked) "Oh my god, sit down. are you ok? I'll get you some tea. What did he do? Like, why would they put him down???"
Boy A "Best mate is a horse!"

She thought he was talking about one of his friends! Funny really!

They do? if it's women only, then how come you have seen it?

    Is AH men only?

For every thread in that forum that bashes men, there are 50 (or so) male posters there to defend their gender. Rightly so...

Ex Homerun_homer got into a huff when watching Casino Royale and I made a non-sexist observation that Eva Green is easy on the eyes. What's to be jealous of? Like I was gonna bump into her some night and she would be up for running away with me.

    Once had a chinese meal before heading away to ****** one year with 2 friends and one of their girlfriends (now ex thankfully). She was an absolute spanner and none of us could stand being around her. She had a sea food option and was eating away and said;
    "I love sea food"
I joked "nah, can't stand it myself. I'll only eat Land food"
"Yeah I love Land food too.." and went on talking about her favourite "land food". Idiot.

eva green is nice and all, but saying that in front of your girlfriend - why? I never tell my boyfriend who I think is gorgeous.

    Just asking for trouble!!

I spent a half hour one day with apples and oranges and footballs trying to explain it to her and I thought I did but she admitted two weeks after she was only pretending so I wouldn't feel bad about not explaining it right.

And... after you were done with the oranges and footballs she understood the off side rule?

  • Registered Users Posts: 605 ✭✭✭foundry

    Hiya

I told my girlfriend recently that I was going to a football match.

    "Oh, who's playin?" she enquires.

    "Kildare and Meath" I reply.

"Is that in the world cup?" she asks

Anyone else got any good ones, not that I'm trying to promote sexism or anything, but some stories have to be shared!

Nah I really wouldn't! I did say it to one guy in the past, who I wasnt even serious about, and he was really really pissed off! learned my lesson - no-one wants to hear about that!

    What What What!!!

Me and my Bf have the celebrity sex rule.

We have two celebrities each, who, if we ever meet and it's on the card we're allowed have sex with them!!

I have Caleb from Kings of Leon and Robert Pattinson.

He has Qwen Stefani and Eva Mendes (AS IF!)

but it gets us through sex well.
