    Vimes, Rincewind and The Witches were all brilliant as far as I'm concerned :D Though I could never quite warm to the Wizards in the same way.

    I still have a good few discworld novels to get through to my shame :o

    I remember reading books like Moving Pictures and Pyramids back when I was a kid and how effortlessly funny they were and I've been regularly going back to the discworld books ever since. I only bought Raising Steam a couple of weeks ago, Moist von Lipwig is yet another one of his genius characters.

    I played Discworld Noir on PC back in the day and it had many funny moments. I didn't read many of his books, but picked up Going Postal one time in the airport. It was very hard to put down.

    One thing about not having been drinking for a while was the lack of hangovers. I got a bad today, but it was worth it, good time had last night ;)

    I had a rum and ginger beer on Friday and I have been suffering ever since :O. I have digestive problems and it's sent me haywire. Another thing to avoid. However I did get some nice chocolates and homemade cupcakes for mothers day :)

    Oh dear, that sounds bad! I took my mum to the cinema, we saw Kingsman, she absolutely loved it! :D

    It's quite a departure from my usual tastes, but discovered Steam Powered Giraffe recently and listening to them almost exlusively! They've been my latest obsession, and I've been rabbiting on about them to anyone who'd listen.

    Had a savage weekend at Hammerfest in Wales.
    Such a relaxed and friendly festival.
    Band of the weekend for me was Skalmold, not a fan beforehand but they were pure savage on stage.
    Hell, Angel Witch,Xentrix, Candlemass and Einherjer all played stormers but unfortunately Hell didnt have a big audience due to clashing with Evil Scarecrow, massive clash fail on part of the organisers.

    We legged over and got their last song. Have to check them out in Dublin next month, hopefully they get the crowd that they need for it.
