My wife and her sister were staying in the golf hotel in Ballybunnion back in the late nineties the children were making a bit of a racket at 9pm when this man in a silk pyjamas and one of those things to cover your eyes while you sleep came out of his room giving out that he couldn't sleep with the racket. It turned out that he was that Fergie fella that done Tarot reading on RTE. Next morning they met Derek Davis and told him about yourman he had a good laugh about it and gave them his autograph with "hush Fergie sleeps" after his name.

Got stuck in a lift with half the Canterbury Crusaders when I was about 6. They're pretty damn big and scary! but were very nice to me seeing as I was pretty outnumbered!

Met Ian Wright at the Acropolis after the 2007 Champions League final. Top guy. Couldnt be nicer. My cousins phone was running out of power and acting up but Wright stood there for ages in the pissing rain with his arm around me waiting for the camera to work.

Met Isaac Boss after the Ireland A game in the MAldron hotel a few weeks back. Really nice guy and didnt mind our whole team pestering him for ages gettign phots and the like.

I met David Beckham when he was in Toronto playing with LA Galaxy, my friends were staying in the same hotel as the team and as they left for the match only residents were allowed in the lobby, 6 of us stayed there with one key card in front of us

He seemed very shy, barely looked directly at anyone, just smiled and small bit of chat.

I was standing so close to him that I could barely get a proper photo, all just serious close ups! One gorgeous one of him smirking, mmm... :P
