Many thanks for the best wishes folks. I'll remember them at mile 22, when I need a lift!
Prep is going well, managed 5 miles with strides around Tiergarten/the start and finish area, and a couple of easy swims. Staying in a great hotel, for those considering Berlin next year.

Have a slight worry with an injured tendon I'm ny left foot, which makes it difficult to lift the foot after a few miles, but hopefully it will stay at bay tomorrow. Easy day planned for today, with lots of Italian food, and spectating at the inline skating marathon (car crash tv!).

Looking toward to tomorrow's challenge, and the excitement and nervous tension of the starting line. Berlin, let us do battle once more.

Put that tendon to the back of your mind. The adrenaline rush of a big city marathon can help mask niggling injuries.
