Anyone recommend an artist in Dublin who specialises in lettering(latin)? I'm sure most would do a competent job but looking for someone with a proper flare.

Most should be ok enough, main thing is to find someone who's good at calligraphy or who can find you some decent fonts.

Main thing though is to make sure your latin is translated and spelled properly :D

Depends on your location, as for language best of checking the spelling yourself artist will take no responsibility for that. If your in Dublin check out Rob Mulligan always liked his script tattoo's.

    Greetings folks.

    Complete virgin here.

It's only taken me my entire adult life to work up to this, but I want a tattoo. I have the design but I need help on where to go to get it and what to look out for.

The only thing putting me off is the trepidation that it all may go wrong and I end up with not what I want. Not so much over my own disappointment at it being so but save the hurt of another who would see it more often than I would (I want it on my back). I know all tattoos have personal resonances for the folk that have them but I can't stress how important this is to me and someone else.

    Thank you.

    Hiya, welcome to the forum!

Feel free to start a thread about what you want, and we can advise you on artists.

I understand the trepidation, but honestly, if you go to a well known, good artist, he/she will NOT mess up the tattoo or go wrong in any way. :)
