Feck them and their carpet cleaners. Get a bit of shake n' vac and run the hoover over it a couple of times and it leaves it smelling nice. Then tell them ya had the 'carpets steam cleaned', there's no such thing as a carpet expert. I've done this loads of times.

im lovin the way you think

duno what we're gonna do. see how arsed we are later. official moving date, is 29th, we'll see how we go by then.

gotta move double bed, washing machine, table, blah blah, awkward expensive stuff.

haha, last time i moved, just threw it in a suitcase, and hopped on a plane.

time before that, i had to walk for about 40mins up and down a feckin hill, about 5 or 6 times, as i had no car, and was moving across the town i lived in, and had no means of transport bar walking.

The guy who normally plays the music in the office is out, so I've comandeered the speakers and have my mp3 player pumping out today! I'm baffling the office with some Irish classics:

    Put 'em under Pressure
    Raggle Taggle Gypsy
    A series of Pogues songs

    Anyone got any requests??

I remember seeing Rory Gallagher playing a free concert in the Central Bank in Dublin years ago. His guitar slides still sends shivers down my back. What a legend he was!

Aussie male under threat by beautified metrosexuals

FORGET the whales - it's time to save the Aussie male.

A national survey has found the hard-drinking, straight-talking male is under threat.

The research, commissioned by Barons Brewing, suggests a rise in the number of champagne-drinking metrosexuals more interested in hair products than their mates.

Fathering and relationships had affected mateship and 75 per cent surveyed said men were more likely to take champagne and cheese to a barbecue than beer and meat.

"If the trends continue there'll nothing but weak handshakes and pink frocks," Barons Brewing CEO Scott Garnett said.

The survey of 500 Australians by McCrindle Research found eight out of 10 respondents thought men spent more time on their appearance than a decade ago.

Sixty per cent said men prefered to meet at cafes rather than pubs, while 50 per cent said men were more likely to do yoga than play footy or cricket.

Mr Garnett said women were the strongest advocates of the savethemales.com.au campaign: "Single women are crying out that it's almost impossible to find a real man."

    Codswallop.

It's only because it was against the All Blacks. You'd never see it after a Magners League defeat to Connaught.
