Prison Administrative Support Officer. Clerical support in general office/stores. Uniformed, minimal contact with offenders, relatively low paid, awkward rostering, high turnover. Should be a few threads running with regard to same or see Publicjobs.ie

Recruitment of RPOs should begin later this year. Diminished terms of employment are still being thrashed out.

Fellas (and girls)...the reality is that membership of certain organisations (nothing to do with rehabilitation) will undoubtedly open doors for you. That's how it works guys. In most other jobs, your educational qualifications will help further your career.
Now....let's look at the qualifications of prison management.......
