    #993 - certainly looks like a baby robin to me. The cormorant photo is great - I usually only see them at eye level barrelling up the Liffey.

    Not sure all the characteristics of a swallow, except very pale wings no blue on their backs, maybe juvenile or Martins?

    One of a few sedge Warblers giving it loads in the meadow field next to the house. Taken at 500mm at about 30 metres.

    Seen this otter run onto the road in front of me this evening and he wasn't waiting for his photo to be taken. Just managed to get the camera out in time before he disappeared. Very surprised to see one as it was only 50 yards from the house here and its really only a very very small stream that he was using..

    And in the garage at the weekend, 2 Bluetits, sadly neither survived. Found both dead the following morning beside their nest box.
