Poor record shots, but happy to have caught a short eared owl on camera.

@keps Thanks a lot. I can enjoy your pictures more than mine. Mostly i´m more lucky than skilled.:)

@Kuva Perfect tip. thanks. Lets try it as this should be post #26. Otherwise poor @New Home still has an additional job. :D

    Three predators...

First picture is the same dragonfly i posted last time. Just at an other angle and a not so nice background.

The second is a colour changing spider which was sitting in the blackberries. It can change it´s colour to yellow. Really fascinating.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Misumena_vatia

And number three is a very distinctive robber fly. The red legs give it away as a Choerades rufides. There is not much to be found exept the following links.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Choerades

    https://www.biodiversidadvirtual.org/insectarium/Choerades-rufipes-(Fallen-1814)-img921802.html

I give up on this embeding stuff... :-(

You have to copy the url of your image and paste it within the image tags like so [NOPARSE]NOPARSE]https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/attachment.php?attachmentid=464240&d=1540065953[NOPARSE][/NOPARSE], so that ^^^ would turn out like this:

    464240.jpg

If you're using the image icon (the one that looks like a landscape of mountains with the sun and a yellow sky, remember to remove one of the https:// from the URL as there's one there already. :)

    NOW i got it. :D

So i can not upload real pictures which can be viewed directly. I have to use a hoster for my images and can only insert the links. So boards.ie is not saving any pictures on it´s servers. What a pity...

I´ve seen whole pages in other forae empty because hosters went offline or people just deleted their pictures.

As i know now i will look for a free hosting service. Don´t think that boards.ie can get rid of me this easy. :p:D

Thanks@New Home, i blame my cold for not thinking properly. :D

Nononono, that's not what I mean! You can use the URL of your attachment. :)

I mean, attach your photos like you've been doing, then right-click on the url and copy it, and paste that in between the IMG tags. :)

Of course, if you prefer you CAN use a free hosting service. :)

BTW, if you go here, you can see all the items you've attached on Boards (the URL is the same for everyone, it just links you to your own page because you're the one who's logged in. In other words, if I click on it I get a list of MY attachments, you'd get yours, and so on).

    Autum impressions...

Found this big guy this afternoon enjoying the sun next to the amphittheater of the already closed "Freilichtbühne Breisach".

    ...then he relaxed a bit...

    ...till i was ignored completely.

Just like his amber eyes matching the colour of the leaves. :)

@New Home This time i nailed it, ha! Thanks... :D
