Until recently I had been taking a break from PC Gaming, so my computer's been under my desk for the past year or so. Upgraded it a while back, only got around to changing my desk around now to accommodate it properly. To be ordered soon - new case and new cpu cooler. Here's a shot of the extended family! The monitor between the TV and main PC is a foldout one for LAN games using PC 2 on the far left. :)

Oh and.....Ignore that old Dell on the ground. :o

I've made some quite substantial upgrades since my last post here so I thought I would make a little update. I can get more pictures if requested.

Actually dont think I've posted pics of the rig in full since its had all its upgrades, last one I remember posting was just of the RAM when it arrived. Here's some quick shots of the main compartment.

    Right,

I finally finished tidying up my rig and putting in the new motherboard so I decided to take some photos! This is the photos thread so I thought ye might like them.

I would also like to mention at this point: would anyone be interested in my Vapor-X? It's a great card but it's not using a reference PCB so I can't watercool :o.

    Anyway:

PC not long up and running. Cables need some major tidy up work for sure but first I wanna leave it running for a while in case of any problems. The 2 GTX Titans certainly help with the three 30inch 2560x1600 monitors for playing games at high settings in surround.
Using air cooling at the moment but plan to install a complete watercooling loop in the coming months and then I'll start playing around with overclocking.

Pics taken with phone so maybe not the best quaility.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,983 ✭✭✭Tea_Bag

just out of interest, why did you go for the Hazro's? clearly money was no real object, so im guessing you put some research into your choice?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,435 ✭✭✭wandatowell

What FPS are you getting when playing BF?

I've had one for the last year and never had any problems with it. Yes I've read some mixed opinions on the Hazro's but a friend also has one of the 30inch ones for some time, again without any problems. Picture is very impressive, low lag times and I'm not bothered with the lack of inputs and controls. The new Dell 30" ones at that resolution are considerably more expensive.
I sold some unneeded audio equipment to fund most of the PC so money wasn't exactly no object.

I'll be installing a full custom water cooling loop to include the graphics cards in the near future. The Noctua does the job for now.
