Very nice man. How's the motherboard noise-wise with the built-in/onboard fan? Does it run all the time and is there option to turn it off or lower the RPM's in the bios?

There's three presets in the Gigabyte BIOS. I have it set to Silent and it rarely spins.
Tried the other two and you can hardly hear it over the case fans on Silent setting.

Would like to downsize from my H440 to a H500 or 500i or the new glass one.

Well it's in! But I've tried two sites to upload the photos and they aren't showing here! Links added rather than trying to embed them.

Looks great! Id flip the top 2 case fans though to push rather than pull.

By push you mean pushing air in? Id so that's what they do. I always have more fans pulling in than sucking out. Those two only, the rear and the front bottom are set to only ever spin when under load.

I've read various ways of case setup and tried every which way its honestly never made much difference. For me more cool air coming in is pushing any air inside out the many gaps in the case while cooling it too, the rear vent fan has help that way.

It's a very nice case to build in. I removed the drive cage as i've two SSD's and two NVME's so had loads of room at the back.

I have to send back the Kraken as it's developed a noticeable whine in the pump. Going to exchange for a Corsair 280.

Got my 3700X & X570 ITX board today. I had a moment of weakness and ordered a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD too. Unfortunately until that's with me, I'll still be using my 6700k system.

However I wanted to confirm the new board & CPU were alive and didn't want to wait for the M.2 drive, so hence the mess & running the X570 board out in the open. The screwdriver is the switch. :pac:

    Yep. That's the one.

The paritially dissambled system is my current desktop - 6700k, MSI Z170 ITX Board & a 1070.

I've made yet another case change. My GPU runs too hot in the H500 for my liking. It is idling in the high 40's and get's over 80 in gaming sessions. I know that's nothing too alarming but i would much prefer better temps. Have a Phanteks P400A arriving on Friday.

    CPU idling at 40C too.

What your fan config in the H500?

280 AIO in the front and exhaust top and back. I could ramp up the fan speed but i want a system as quiet as i can get it.
Not going to happen in this case.

By all accounts if you run a negative pressure in the H500 it cools the GPU better. But with an AIO in the front you would have to ramp up the exhaust fans and have the AIO fans running as slow as possible.

Definitely not as fun as getting a new case though.

We'll see how the new one does. It was cheap enough as i went with the non RGB one because i have my own fans.
I also got free shipping with Overclockers as there was a delay and they didn't send on the day i ordered it and they refunded me.
