Meh prop bets are good, although if he doesn't take action on this then something will be done. PM me the rest of the threads and I'll take a look at them.

Thread merged with existing IPO thread.

Stephen - there is a few too many IPO threads on boards, I know you are looking for a big attendance, but ease off a bit on creating threads.

Outofposition - Use the report post function to report posts that you feel are inappropriate in future please.

CHD - 2 week ban for you I'm afraid, lately you are constantly posting rubbish and trolling in lots of threads accross the poker fora. This isnt the first time you've been banned either. Cut it out when you come back or the next ban will be more permenant.

Just after registering for Day 1B. Had to pay €161.82 though, instead of the €150 buy in fee stated at the start of the thread?

send a PM to Ciaran_Corbett on boards. He is MR IPO!! :) I'm 100% certain as soon as he finds his way back into the office from his bedroom this will be looked after. PM with your BoylePoker screen name.

Sadly its a bit of an issue cos of the dollar being all over the place, but Boyles are being superbly quick to address any issues with it.

I have no interest in lists at this stage, only numbers now :)

Seriously though, I have one post in Tournaments & Events (we get regular PM's from players looking for information because there is too much to sift through in this thread but we still only have one up there).

One post in online tournaments about the online sats for this tournament and then I post one thread about a poker related prop bet in the poker forum (the fact that this prop bet has something to do with the IPO is irrelevant).

    Whats the problem lads?

I think the mods here are really excellent so can we leave them to do the job they love please :)...I am nowhere near as bad as I used to be on this issue, just ask Cooker

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,771 ✭✭✭carfax

420 now, I'm getting worried....Only 6 players have registered since last night

Hope my €500 is safe :o, BCB when you are next online can you confirm this bet?

    Cheers,
    Stephen.

Gerry here from Boylepoker, as Carfax mentioned their is a lot to look through on the thread, so just to remind anyone who registers for the IPO and comes across a price difference due to currency fluctuations, please just PM myself or Ciaran and we will refund you the difference.

Heh. I was just thinking you had been pretty restrained compared to previous efforts. This is nothing compared to first NSPC

I've no desire to get into the mods bad books. But I really think Stephen was correct to post his prop bet where he originally did. Merging it in here is a bit messy imo.
Indeed it took me a while to find it yesterday, as I first thought it had just been deleted or moved to gambling.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,771 ✭✭✭carfax

And we're creeping up to 422.

Let me do the maths on this now, if we have an average of 18 players registering per day we will get to 1,200 in ..... over 40 days

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 663 ✭✭✭CourierCollie

Stephen can you confirm the dates for this. On the Boyle Poker client it has day1a as the 16th, and 1b as the 17th.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,541 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

As per Stephens request the prop bet posts have been moved to the BBV thread....

Dates for registration to close for Day 1A is the 16th Oct and for Day 1B its 17th Oct.

The tournament takes place on 17th Oct (Day 1A starts at 4pm in the Regency Hotel), 18th Oct (Day 1B starts at 2pm in the Regency) and Day 2 (Final day's play starts at 1pm).

Hope this helps, sorry about the confusion but there is no other way to display it in the BoylePoker lobby.....

Once you register and pay on BoylePoker you will not have to queue on the day. You can turn up ten minutes before the start time if you like as you will have had your seat number emailed to you in advance.

    Cheers,
    Stephen.

Approx. how far in advance will the emails be circulated, will probably be away for a week or so before the start of the tourney

Just in the few days before the tournament.

Either way when you walk into the Regency Conference Centre you will see your name listed alphabetically on a large screen with your seat number alongside.

There will also be plenty of floor staff on hand to help you out but the point is that you don't have to queue anywhere for a long time as you would at other "pay on the day" live events. You can simply turn up at ten minutes to your start time and expect the tournament to start right on 2pm or 4pm.

    Cheers,
    Stephen.

defo going to be a sell out, with all the added money and big publicity hard to see how it would not

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 694 ✭✭✭Get In There

Yeah I wud say it'll b full by then... Boyles are doing a fantastic job promoting this, I don't think you cud have asked for a better partner..

All kudos to you guys at Poker Ireland for having the guts to think big and organise an event of this size. As someone that doesnt have deep pockets, this is my WSOP

Yeah, the Boyles link up is better than last years on many levels.
Being able to deposit in a bookies v credit card. Plus the poster in the bookies shop should attract a few degens, who wouldn't have heard about it otherwise.
Also, wanted to say thanks to Gerry from Boyle for refunding the currency difference without any hassle.
