Dont worry mate, most people dont finish it... its meant to be like that!!! Did you guess the questions that you did not actually have time to answer properly?

You can join the rest of us in the waiting game now...

well u just never know, just try and forget about it until the results come out and learn from the experience! You might yet get a pleasent wee surprize in the post.

I failed last year by a few marks but it meant this year I knew what to expect and I was semi prepared. Even still, its the sort of test that you come out of and have no idea how you did. Its not like an exam with lots of time for you to go over and check answers or such. The data sheet is certainly a handfull. I would say if you ask anyone who sits the test tho, they will say thats the hardest part. Its the time pressure when your looking for a couple of bits of info...

Just stay positive and see what comes of it though!! ;)

Was this your first time applying?

    Hi guys,

    Newbie here :)

I had mine on the 26th March, so just at the beginning of the waiting game :( Boooooooooooo

Been told should hear back at the end of April beginning of March...

Hope I did well enough to pass :)

    Same as above newbie. :)
My test is tomorrow, a little apprehensive but hoping that id do alrite. Heartening to know that the test is speed vs accuracy and its not meant to be fully completed. My current job aptitude test was very similar that way.
    Anywhoo wish me luck.

A colleague of mine just did hers today! I'd say it'll be close enough to the predicted date of the 20th of April before we get any word :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 159 ✭✭fefe5

Well in that case they are running over a month now so there could not be that many days left....I hope!

Its the fact that its also Easter coming up too, thus slowing the results with people taking holidays etc.

Think I can cope to the 20th, just wish the weather would wise up

Point is, if anyone else has still to do it, dont believe everything you hear. Its not the worst test ive seen for a job.

I know if I hadn't done it before I'd rather go in to it expecting it to be really really tough than thinking it'd be a breeze... I thought it'd be easy my 1st time because I've always been good a maths and that but I've never had any experience at all with aptitude tests or anything, so I found it tough.

I know a fella last year done it was like "aye wise up that was wick easy" etc etc...he failed...by more than me...I laughed so hard, I know I shouldn't have but I couldn't help it because he was soooo cocky about it and I knew I was probably going to fail, it just felt so good to laugh :D

Oh and congrats mrsmikelowry, i can only imagine how it feels, good luck at gv!

Maybe its just the line of work i have been in since leaving school all those years ago, hard tests were par for the course that required actual experience of what the questions asked. The info is all right there in front of you for this one though. Its not cockiness at all, just that i found it very straight forward and doable.
