Don't know Kingdom. Must be an error on his behalf because Lucan have other entries in.Maybe he doesn't want to go back to CPM !!

Ha its not coz of that Wiger. He thought he was an automatic, so he didn't think hed have to enter or pay his 10 euro, how foolish, not to even ask.Darren broke the news to em the other nite before the draw was on the web, and he was snapping. His fault at the end of the day.As for not going back to CPM!! Sure hes there everyday practicing, still a member, but contributes nothing to the club.

Yes it was ridiculously windy alright, didn't play myself, got my times mixed up. Was fairly annoyed with myself over it, but I sorted myself out with a few slaps.

The winds must have been bad, I was told there our club matchplay semi finals have been cancelled because a few of the trees are about to fall down at the 3rd hole. I believe they are going to be taken down cause the last time a tree fell one of the greens had to be relaid. This tree has the potential to ruin any of three greens,

Thats crazy about Fred. Obviously its not funny its happened to him its never nice to be excluded from a comp never mind one you're defending. Make him all the more determined to win something else.

Yes i know its not funny. I was 'ha' at Wiger saying maybe he doesnt want to go back to CPM, i laughed coz hes there everyday.I wanted him innit so maybe i could play him and beat the defending champion, just like my 7&6 win in final of Club Matchplay hehe.

Ah I'll be honest it is a little funny in fairness. But its also a bit degrading to the comp when the defending champ isn't involved.
Have to say though if he is playing all the time in CPM why did he join Lucan? its not like CPM have a worse senior team or anything? He would be playing amongst as many all ireland champs in lucan as are in cpm.

It probobly should have been up to Lucan to do that. After all he's representing (or not as the case may be) them these days.

I'm quite sure if Fred was still registered with CPM this wouldn't have happened.

I can think of Skinner, I wasn't sure Hayden was even playing this year. Gussie carolan I suppose is another.

I'd be 100% sure. But I doubt there was anything untoward on Lucans part. Just shows how easy you can fall out with clubs and be a journeyman, or how hard it is to eat humble pie.

Yes very true.It was never up to CPM to look out for his best interests after leaving them and sure Lucan would only see him as a blowin.
Maybe Fred didn't think this one true properly.

Thats exactly how I see it. I remember a time when a member of a southside club was going to leave for another affluent southside club. He was warned about it and the perils of such a move would far outweigh the flak he might get in his own club if he stayed. He made the wise decision to stay. The grass always seems greener on the other side.

It wasn't me in the story by the way. It could have been an acquaintance of mine though. ;)

Very Prophetic, Mr Kingdom.... By the way who's Fred? is that one of the boys from the gluepot???

I would have no sympthy for Fred myself but if he had been still in CPM no matter what Darren would have looked out for him. But as you said Wiger why would Lucan look after a blowin!
In my club anyway the person looking after the outside competitions would give you the heads up if you had forgotton to enter a competition before sending off the entry sheet.

Where is this place the gluepot?

Howaya buddy! The gluepot, a name given to clondalkin, not to be confused with a knackers yard.
