Graeme, the timesheet is not open yet. Will post here when it is which will probably be early June. It will be a full Junior Scratch Cup (no Intermediate SC), 36 hole strokeplay, and hcap range is to be confirmed but will be one of 4-9 or 4-10.

Gui site has both the inter and the junior down for the same day - 12th?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,887 ✭✭✭madds

Yeah I know. It was originally planned to be a joint SC, but with a little persuasion we had it reverted back to its original format. I will make sure the GUI entry is updated with correct details. Thanks Graeme.

Lads, Greenore are having a jun scr on the 30th May (same day as Headfort I believe), 36 holes, €30 incl soup n sambos.

Played there in Barton Cup last week, great track, was embarrassed off it so mightn't go back up but worth the trip I reckon, an hour from the airport.

    Just a heads up..

Finally got through... timesheet full. 60 mins it took. Not even taking reserves.

Out of interest, is it 36 holes? How much was it to play it?

Junior Scratch on in The South County the same day....

Luckily 2 of us managed to get a slot in Baltray even though the phone line was hammered from 9.45 this morning.

Was up there Friday for the Irish Open and the course was immaculate. Let's hope they take some pity on us with the tees and pins.

    Cool what time??

Nice early start to be out there and get any kind of a warm up done..

out at 7.45am and 12.45 (old).. never played either so looking forward to it.. not luck so far in the scr cups. So 36 holes could turn into very hard work.

Your out in the group after me F22. I'm playing with one of your clubmates i think too. I agree, a tad later than i'd asked for. Hopefully it won't be as warm as last year -- i was out around 11 and was nearly dead by the time we finished the old at 9pm that night.

I think you're out with a pal of mine Donal. He won our own junior scratch last year. Did you get a copy of the timesheet?

In my day, we were grateful for 9 holes at 6am, on a January morning, before dawn, with borrowed clubs, when the greens were pole-forked, with no placing, from the back tees...
