First of all, ABSOLUTLEY AND POSITIVLEY STUNG.

secondly, pixi trixie may have been some sort of compulsive attention seeker, or perhaps she decided to prove how most posters here on boards.ie are afraid to speak their mind and follow the tradition of boosting the OP's courage, as if they have this shattered self esteem which would be their reason for posting on a message board.
21st century people, web 2.0, user participation makes the web. I was reading metro and anyone remember that 80-90 year old italian granny with a blog !
anyway

Ahh the poor yoke. What harm did she really do? Are our lives irrevocably damaged by her (granted silly) post? She might be very lonely and wanted someone to say something nice to her that day, even if it wasn't really for her own image.

Might make an interesting study of our collective sense of online community, where nothing is real and yet virtual lies still result in virtual outrage...:D

We all use avatars and pseudonyms, is a false pic really that much different?

first of all,have to say it, this is absolutely NUTS!!
never seen this before on boards before!!

the weird thing is i remember posting a reply on some post that went something like "hey guys, just shaved my head for charity and was wondering if anyone had any tips?"
