Huge huge congrats!!! Totally enjoy it now! Next year you will have your hands full :)

Day 25 tomorrow for me. No symptoms and did a negative test today even tho I'm very early! Still I'd rather test and no that it's negative than get my hopes up I think. Ovulated day 16 I think so due my period in 5 days. Pretty much on Xmas day... I always got sore boobs other times - none now. Guess I'll just have to enjoy my vino this Xmas instead!!

Exact same here. Not bothering to test, have no idea if/when I ovulated, they wasn't a whole pile of loving this month so I think I'll just gracefully accept (with a large glass of wine) that this month just isn't to be! Good luck to you though!

Ah I'm grand. It's definitely not so bad when you have a smallie to distract you. We sent in semen for analysis this morn. I rang the coombe too about the hycosy as it has to be done between day 1 and 10. So apparently they only do the waiting lists every Wednesday which means the next two Wednesdays are out of the question. I can ring back in a month when I start my next cycle and they'll 'see if they can fit me in'. Really unimpressed by such a crappy service. Decided to start taking the agnus castus today to see if it'll help me ovulate in the absence of clomid. Here's hoping :)

Day 1 of a new and more positive year. I'm hoping this will be the year we move house and become pregnant again. Hope the new year marks a fresh start to everyone else ttc.

Huge congrats Dublinlady, hope all is ok with you, bet you had a great xmas!
I'm with you YellowHen, we are getting to work on Monday with completing our house, we hope to be in it by May, lots of people are telling me we'll get pregnant once we are in our own house, I really hope that's true. Going for IVF as soon as the house is ready. Fingers crossed 2015 is our year!

    ... And I'm back :pac:
Abigail will be 6 months old on the 24th of this month, and we have decided to start trying for number 2! Currently off the pill after my 7-day break, so here's hoping for the (highly unlikely) success that we had last time!

Hi ladies, any thoughts on clomid vs puregon after OD (ovarian drilling, which was unsuccessful on its own)? Have done 4 cycles of clomid in first half of 2014. Tried 1 cycle of femera, 2 cycles of puregon, but no success either. Suggestion is clomid might work this time after the OD.

Great to read about all the positive news over Christmas :-)

    Hey all my first post!

Im 32 and have had 2 test re FSH both were very high (menopause levels) I got the implanon removed 11 months ago and have had only 1 period. The doctor says everything is pointing to Premature Ovarian Failure. Im devastated, trying to help myself tho. Im on flaxseed and just started Angus Castus. Does anyone have any more tips or advice?

    Thanks

Sorry to hear that. The only thing I can advise is to get a definite diagnosis with a specialist so that you know where you stand and what your options are (sorry not sure if you have seen a specialist or just your GP).

Seconded, my GP referred me off to get treated for severe endometriosis and it was their preliminary testing that found out a) I had nothing of the sort and b) I was already pregnant with no interference.

Thanks, I am being referred to a Specialist so hopefully there will be some options/help.

Well until you know for sure what you're dealing with all you can do is stay healthy and keep hoping. My periods were absent for some time and it was actually putting on a stone that got things moving again for me - I was heavily involved in sports so slim with a low body fat %. Just thought I'd mention it as I was extremely fit and healthy but wasn't actually healthy at all from a fertility point of view!

    Hi All,
I've been reading through posts and haven't seen any mention of thyroid function. Anyone ttc should get this checked. It's hard to know what makes the difference when ttc but I think getting it sorted might have helped in two cases I know, one of them being my own. Best of luck!!

It's included in the very first blood test a gp will run for someone who has presented with ttc difficulties and repeated often if you need to go to a specialist.

Did you try again with first morning urine?

Sorry to hear that Neyite x

I've 10 days to go, not a great month at all, too tired & too busy to try properly, the joys of house building! need to get busy next month and concentrate! Still, have it in the back of my mind that until I get IVF nothing will happen, prob best not dwelling on it until the house is ready...

I didn't bother this morning, but the spotting totally stopped late last night and now nothing. I'm trying to hold out to at least get an obvious line. I've one test left and I can't waste it :pac:

Oh that was very restrained of you! Probably better to wait until tomorrow morning rather than do tonight as more chance of getting a definite positive, if it is positive. Fingers crossed!!
