Wind has started to pick up here in the last 20 minutes or so. Was very quiet prior to that.

What are the chances of the East Coast seeing some snow tonight? Do these showers make it that far across the country or do they usually fizzle out before they get here??

Trogdor, do you think we will see any of the white stuff here tonight? It's well overdue, don't you agree!!! :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,335 ✭✭✭✭Supercell

Lol, its passed now just as I remembered where my damn camera was.
Only bits stuck to the car roof nothing on the ground.
If only I had another 150 metres on here..would be a wonderland right now .

Indeed it's well overdue but although I haven't dismissed it I don't think it's too likely here. There's probably a fairly good chance of seeing snow but we need the showers to hit here and we would need it to be very heavy for it to start to stick. Temp is still dropping, now 3.9C dp 0.6C

http://www.met.ie/latest/rainfall_radar.asp looks like the south is getting a hammering of showers of rain, hail, sleet, and snow over higher ground!
