Any of the $2 shops or party shops will do them, and usually cheaper than most of the camping shops.

Pick yourself up a glittery cowboy hat while you're there, sweetcheeks.

    From the LIVESTRONG blog:

Loyal iPhone 4 users can’t get enough of the powerhouse gadget, but some reports have pointed to minor connectivity issues that are easily solved with an additional casing.

LIVESTRONG fans have found a creative solution for the reported antenna issue and it's one that's catching on. The LIVESTRONG wristband offers a flexible and stylish solution with simple set-up.

Apples solution is to give everyone a bumper case anyway. It's basically the same as those bands, but has ridges to keep it in place.

I'm holding off on getting one until the new Otterbox Defender is available for it anyway, so I won't be affected.

thought I'd post it here as I don't really want to start a new thread:P

just wanted to ask why people themselves think Irish sites are so empty compared to the UK ones, if you look at the scoutthedoggie videos, you'll see 50-80+ people in the game, just wanted to ask why people think this is:)

Too many sites, not enough people.

not going to be a popular answer but to many sites for the area and population head you just have to look at the uk airsoft map for scotland http://www.airsoftmap.co.uk/ ( old map but you get the idea ) another fact if that the place is famous due to the videos so people do travel to it, but they do seem to have a large numbers of regulars

if dublin and the surrounding area had only a couple of sites then yes you would get those numbers

I went to see it last night with a few mates after work (one of whom brought a bottle of Jack Daniels single barrel, the hero). I was pretty impressed, the "sword fight" in the field was pure class :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,551 ✭✭✭swiftblade

I found it decent enough but i don't think they developed the characters enough. I didn't care when any of them died and i felt the ending was rather rushed. :) But the action scenes (which is what counts ;) ) were done well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 166 ✭✭SwarfegaHead

I'll agree with that much, the only character I actually thought came across well was Larry Fishbourne's.
And I thought it was a bit silly that they didn't really question why Topher Grace's character was there. Well, they questioned it, but they weren't suspicious enough of him in my opinion.
Spoilered just in case someone on here intends to go see it

Also, Adrien Brodys Batman-voice kinda got on my nerves after a while too haha

Fishbourne was dire in the movie in my view. His character was originally scripted as "dutch" from predator 1 supposed to be played by Arnie himself. He pulled out however and they wrote up fishbourne character and well it shows. It is really a no need inclusion.

The choice they had was either have a character push on the plot with information about the predators, or let the characters find out themselves or just not find out. They went with option one.

I thought it was great. I'm a big fan of the series, alien films too, and AVP really let me down. It is a step in the right direction. It's not perfect by any stretch, but it was enjoyable to watch. sure there are some very niggly bits but there was some cool, inventive creative stuff too.

Plus they put a very compassionate yet equally bad ass Russian Spetznatz bloke in it for Puding and co, how sick they much be he wasn't caught dead with an AK :P

Very interesting story with the two waring predator factions that I would have hoped was explored further, then again there is a sequel due in the future so we might see more of it.

Gives me promise because although this was a good step, I feel they can correct the mistakes and get back a solid predator franchise.

Read today aswell that after Arnie pulled out Danny Glover was attached to the movie, with his predator 2 character to play the roll that Morpheus took. Chuffed he didnt, I couldnt stand predator 2, bar the cool new weapons the predator had, it was ****ing muck.

I rate AVP2 better then Predator 2, thats how bad i thought it was :(

Hearing what was originally intended for the character changes my mind on the matter a wee bit, but I still thought he was a step above the others to be honest!

Definitely thought it trumps the AVPs, no question. I had such high hopes for those movies :/.
I like to think I enjoy Predator 2 but the fact the Predator was bested by Danny Glover kinda detracts from their bad-ass effect. Bit of a step backwards from Arnie, that Predator should be ashamed of himself.

Is it just me or was anybody a bit dissapointed with the preadtors preformences ? They wernt anywere near stealthy enough (or maybes its just because I havnt seen the first one in quite some time).

I enjoyed it though. Was deffinatley worth the 9.40 I spent on it. Gotta love seeing all those varietys too in the characters loadouts and weapons :P

Nope, none at all not even a conversion kit. Theres a good few 416's out there as you probable already know but airsoft manufacturers don't seem to be too keen on anything 7.62:p
