I'm not hugely keen on its campaign mode and i prefer the older one, but its online play is pretty much identical to COD4.

Wow, I loved BF:BC Never thought theyd bring out a new one.

I didn't realise Frank Miller was doing games now...

I really didn't like Bad Company. I have a dislike for that type of faux-realism in a game. ***t or get off the pot, either you make it reasonably realistic (COD4/BF2 style arcade realism), or completely realistic (Flashpoint, ArmA). Bring back the BF2 or BF1942 style.

In the mean time, I'm off to play Flashpoint some more. That game never, ever gets old.

I play a bit of COD5, I actually prefer some of the map design to COD4, tanks add an interesting element, I'd be on for an online "airsoft" game.

@Dex I see what you're saying about BF:BC, didn't like the single player at all. It just didn't seem to know what it was i.e. realistic shooter, story driven shooter, arcade style shooter, it was like it was trying to be everything but succeeded at nothing. Online though, it works, you can download the original BF conquest mode too, if you're not into the gold crate game mode. There's something very satisfying about calling in mortars to blow up treelines just to deny snipers any cover to hide in. Destructable environments, I wonder how I ever lived without them...

Ah, well, I can't say yay or nay on the multiplayer element since I don't use the xbox online. I have trouble enough accepting FPS games with console controllers without having my ass handed to me by some 14 year old from middle America who's never heard of a ZX Spectrum or a C64.

I refuse to play anyone who hasn't played a tape-loaded game. To agree with this comment, press FFwd to 02:32:15.

Bad Company 2?, Operation Flashpoint 2 is where it's at. Looking foward to that one and upgrading my PC for Armed Assault 2.:)

Armed assault is great but I'm a fan of Operation flashpoint so it was a given that I'd like its successor.

Also modern warfare 2 beckons in the not too distant future :cool:
