"All I want for Christmas" when I was 11!!! I understand it's a very bad movie, but at the time it was magic. I saw it in the Carlton, then a few weeks later we saw a rerelease of 'Help', I think it was, one of the Beatles movies. Saw it in Adelphi (I think...). I must have cursed those venues somehow. Then I didn't go back to the cinema til I was 16. I've more than made up for my lack of cinemagoing since then.

My Little Pony the Movie was my first trip to the cinema. I remember one panoramic scene of hundreds of my little ponies flying over a burning valley to get to safety. At the time that scene seemed epic and Lawerence of Arabia-esque in it's dramatic scope. I remember having goosebumps.

I've been told the first movie I was brought to was E.T.

I've always disliked this film though. Very boring which is strange because I love sci-fi as a genre.

My first was Snow White probably in '79,'80. I saw Pete's Dragon around the same time. First one that made a big impression was "Baby" in '85. It was the "Jurassic Park" of the time.
