There used to be an old red one in Thurles a few moons ago now. Maybe same car?

No, he lives in Nenagh. It was red though and only happened last year. It was an ex ceo's car in England, he'd folders of history/invoices/mots with it. My friend flew over to England for a week or two, hired a car and did some serious driving around the place looking at Esprits and came home with it.

That's a red one that actually lives in Nenagh next door to my old boss.

I remember I had to go to his (boss's) house one day and on the way over my calliper (BMW) seized AGAIN! When I got there I spent quite some time gawking at the Lotus and forgot about my own troubles :D

    EDIT: Feck ya beemerfan

Seen a light blue '06 lambo at Tallaght, a '90 911 (I think) around Wicklow area, some old classic's (triumph's by the look of them) in convoy in Annanmoe, Wicklow and an orange FST northbound on m50. I was fairly chuffed to see all those. :)

it's a screen grab from my hands free video recording via my mobile phone in a suction mount cradle before anyone asks.

I wouldnt have asked, spotting cars and taking snaps can keep you alert, instead of dosing off. Also it would be better to have the phone in your hand instead of in the suction cradle in case you need to reply to a text or answer a call.

Although like most red blooded males I would love a DeLorean I think they are pretty ugly cars other than a few small things I like on it like the headlights and the doors. Overall its pretty woeful.

    I know............I can't believe I think that way either. :p

Didn't get to many good one's, I forgot the battery to my good camera :o and was left with an ancient compact. Most of the action pics I took were out of focus due to some marks on the lens.

Plate inside said "One of 450" - wonder if it that means no.1?

Most folks in Motors say they wouldn't want a 1-Series - wonder if this is still the case?

That 1 series m coupe looks stunning. Nice little video of it here http://www.topspeed.com/cars/bmw-m1/ke2536.html
    Looks like great fun.

The Renault 4 ... isn't that supposed to be Top Gear's car for the Rally?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,248 ✭✭✭Plug

Must be limited edition like the CSL. They probably are the UK cars(RHD) though.

Not a fan of the 1-Series hatch but do like the coupé. A friend of a friend has a white 120d coupé and it looks the business. The 1M (is this how it'll be referred as?) looks class and is supposed to be a cracking car to drive. Henry Catchpole from EVO did a vid review of it a while back and if my memory serves me correct, it was a glowing report. I'll take mine in black or gun metal grey please...

It was meant to be a LTD run of 2700 worldwide, but the response has been huge so it's now unlimited by all accounts.

Its like a Father Ted got his hands on an E46 M3 and hit it some taps of a hammer,
Not my cup of tea though.
