A few intreasting facts about that RS2. It was the first ever RS model from audi and it was built between audi and porsche, limited edition and production was only between 1994 and 1996. There were only 180 RHD ones built and theres one here:eek:

I know that 1 of those 180 was sold in NI and I knew the owner at the time.

Sh1t!! Looked like it was launched out of the catapult of an aircraft carrier...

    Anyway, in the past week I've seen the following in and around Castleknock;
-2 Ferrari 430's (one red, one black)
-A brand new un-reg'd SL 65 AMG (pretty sure it was coming from Brady's)
-A Range Rover Kahn in Topaz in the village
    -Several 911's
    -A beautiful Golf R32

    No pictures I'm afraid.

Seen one of these in Dundrum last week. Didn't like it, thought it was too much. But that could have been the very expensive hangover thinking :(:D.

Spotted a nice White 911 964 in Tramore the other day. Lovely condition and nice sound out of it. I was swimming so no pics.

    FAKE, no twin pipes.

I thought genuine Alpinas were Alpina badged, not BMW.

Myself and a mate were trying to get a pic but some bellned started beeping us out of it, grrrr............OK maybe we were blocking the road, but he obviously didn't understand the importance of the find :D

Black Audi R8 08D78 on Tallaght bypass this morning. No pic:o driving at the time. Looked nice in black. At least that bit behind the doors blended in a bit better in black.

The MiTo's pretty, but there's something not 100% right about it. It doesn't look as good from all angles.

    Much prefer this one... :D

oh god i hope its not just going to be like the irish motor show/toys 4 big boys...desperate

i was hoping that they would have some supercars there like the enzo, slr, murci lp640? i would be pretty pissed if i paid 100 yoyos for a ticket to see sport and classics stocklist.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,165 ✭✭✭MarkN

    110% agree with you!

Don't know anyone in that dealer just someone I know who does told me.

    +1
I was under the impression they were shipping in millions Euro worth of exotica we have never seen here (Koneggsigg's (sp), Zonda's, Enzo's etc)
if this turns out to be another cheap ass Irish 'show' (basically a trade show for dealers to show off stock they can't sell, like the toys for boys crap) I am never ever going to buy a ticket for Irish show of any sort ever again.

I'll go to the British motor show or MPH in Earlscourt.

It's going to be 90% garage cars and 10% private cars I'd say. I know of a privately owned blue Zonda that was suppose to be there but it's been pulled now.

in a day I saw the Range Rover khan model, a CL55 AMG, a lambo and a noble...........where else but D4

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 34,809 ✭✭✭✭smash

what models were the lambo and the noble?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,354 ✭✭✭cjmcork

the lambo was a black 08 gallardo...........and the noble was a UK reg M12 (I think), though to be fair, I'm not that familiar with them so I'd need to see it again :D - there's also a Maybach floating around Dun Laoghaire and a few Maserati Quattroportes.............though, reports tell that Bono has one so I've had to stop looking at them!

08 Gallardo... nice one. Haven't seen that yet

by private cars do you mean cars that will go all over the world with the top gear tour or just irish owners lending them for the show?
