MD..i was at your table..seat 10..i bluffed my chips to you.. i still cant get over the donkey-calling-stations on the other half of our table

Nice playing with you, if i had A-J there instead of J-J i probably fold.

I still cant get over the fact i played with them for 12 levels and didnt double up off/stack either of them.

    Unlike me :)

    Out in 50th
Last hand before the break and I've got roughly 14bb's
UTG I look at pocket 5s and raise to 36k....
    Lad in mid position pushes.
I go into the tank, decide I'm racing and called.
    JJ was good.

I started the day with 131k and worked up to just over 200k, played aggressively because I had to...lots of big stacks to the right of me, who weren't too shy about pumping my blinds

was on your table for this. i was a little suprised you called. but hey you have to go with your read.

and you certainly were playing aggresive. i though my big blind had a target on it :L

Anyways out in 61st, finished on the bubble of the next payout level, oh well! It was KQs vs 88 AIPF, standard. Glad I helped the team win the team event though ;) BTW anyone know how many teams got paid, and how many teams actually paid for the event?

    finishing result 15-7.......

    15 Pribetich Sebastien France
    14 Jani Rajamäki Sweden
    13 David Gharai Switzerland
    12 Houtmann Joselito France
    11 Nickey O Donell Ireland
    10 Kevin Smith Ireland
    9 Ken Philpott Ireland
    8 Michael Herron Ireland
    7 Eddie O`Reilly Ireland

the athmospher its serious, not much talking and joking around the table anymore, one can feel that for several of this players the price to win is a lot.

On another note the jackpot is Holding the Official EPT Super sat ? Surely it aint big enough for something of this magnitude ? I have never been in there but if they could not accomadate 87 players and Spectators today what will happen when this arrives ?

    David Pook Netherland ( 13 479 )
    Daniel Ruud UK ( 15 639 )
    Martin webber Germany ( 10607 )
    thomas Conaty Ireland ( 15 135 )
    Steven Richards UK ( 12 471 )
    Colin King Ireland ( 10 815 )

This is what they agreed, 200 from each one are taken out to a play pott of 1200 for the winner. And trust me these guys play as its a million left to play about, serious poker still after amazing almost 14 h play today.

Just wanna say thanks to all those people involved in this great event.
Especially Steven, Anna, Jp and all those whose name I didnt catch, and ofcourse the dealers. Soo much work was put in by so few people; its really been incredible

The 8 other guys at the final table were awesome players and and great people, hope to meet you all at the tables again soon.

In a way its a pity we had to cut a deal, but 28hrs of poker in 2 days is sick (for this amateur anyways).

    Cheers

    Thom

(PS hi to the 5 diehards.)

    Beer then bed-time....

Our irish friend is a great guy, and a great player. he got very lucky; but who hasnt, who ever went deep into a tourny.

David's play has been impeccable; TBH he would be my bet. He's apaprently a bit of an online tournament wizz. Also, youll never meet a nicer guy at the poker table.

    Err go ireland! <?>:D
