Looking at these hands in isolation, I would classify you as a fish at 1/2. Thats not an insult, more an unbiased neutrals observation.

nah its understandable, these are the worst hands keep in mind, i could post some of my good ones but i'll be a while looking,
and just so this doesnt get locked again, can ye post on the hands too??? lol

    1. Open limping is a leak
    2. Calling raises with KTo is generally bad
    3. Getting it all in preflop with 26o is awful
    4. Raising 26o is bad
    5. Calling raises with KJo is bad. Reverse implied odds and all that.

i used to be generally a tight layed, but didnt work for 6 handed games, and in a 5/6 handed game noone here calls raises with kj??
    and 62 is horrible.
    and
    k-10 was chaotic

Defo a winning strategy in the long run...

    hehe, :) yup.....
plus i hate playing with short stacks, id rather just go all in and gamble when they come than me making raises to steal with **** and them pushing taking my 30/40 everytime, would rather just go 50/50 for the 200 straight away, if i win im up 200, if i lose, at least he wont keep pushing

plus as u might have noticed, i like to gamble!!!!

Out of curiousity, did you work your way up the levels or where did you start playing? How much is your bankroll?

worked my way up from €1 sng on good old irish eyes.....
also, won a tournament to start off with, then won a lot in live cash games, when i started online i was a losing player, took a few months off to realise what i was doing wrong and have been a winning player ever since...
    bankrolls is about 30/40k

Yeah, I'd love to know this too. It would help with the type of analysis needed on these hands. e.g. is there a need to talk about basics, such as why not to call raises with KJo and why it's not a good idea to get AI Pre-flop with 62o :p

I also agree with everything Ian said,

Looks like you are a very 'emotions' based player and gut feeling plays a big part. This can be good at times as others such as Robin Lacey has said this is a big part of their game too, but I can't see Robin or any others getting a big lump in with 62o, even if you view it as two flush draws.........

Dougee, first off, I admire you for posting HH's that you had to be sure were going to cause a bit of a commotion here.

You said upthread that you make these sort of mistakes all the time, limp calling OOP, playing multi way hands heads up etc.. etc.., leaks that most players would identify while analysing their play. How did you not spot these basic errors when you took those few months off?

Dougee, first off, I admire you for posting HH's that you had to be sure were going to cause a bit of a commotion here.

You said upthread that you make these sort of mistakes all the time, limp calling OOP, playing multi way hands heads up etc.. etc.., leaks that most players would identify while analysing their play. How did you not spot these basic errors when you took those few months off?
i knew id get commotion, but was wondering what the reaction would be too, as to see how ridiculous of plays they were, not as bad as the guy who's destorying me now, lol.....

However mad his play might seem, it is better than yours in this hand, especially if you know you cannot knock him off a hand, then betting with bottom pair, no kicker isn't very clever.

Also, he may have a specific reason for playing against you that way.

ive never played the guy before, plus he's doing it to everyone

it seems to me that a good player would kill this game. 3 limpers pre flop?

I think this is one of the few times that Marq could say "move down levels"

yep, it looks like they are lining up to take you out - i guess your table image isn't that tight??

i was watching the table before i sat down, and noticed they were crazy, was going to leave but there were very long waiting lists on the other tables....
there is a raise in at least 5/6 hands, honestly....
most aggressive table ive played on pp.... down 2k so far, :)
not playing great or horrible, just blinded away a lot, and when i make a play, they call!!!! and i miss(ak 2 callers, flop 10-9 rag, bet raise, me folding)

bottom of the waiting list :(

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,361 ✭✭✭dougee19

watch the table while waiting, they are insane, some of these hands should be posted, he called 111 preflop with a2, in sb, with 4 players

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,361 ✭✭✭dougee19

i went virtually bust, ak vs 6s preflop, oops

    Dougee,

Playing 1/2 PL doesn't suit you, move up levels, this is boring!
