The name of the Irish singer is Paula Flynn. The track is not
currently available but EMI are planning to launch it. It is a
David Bowie cover.

there's that promo for gift grub on Today FM...it has a load of people going 'infacta' a la Bertie...and the music behind it...hard to describe...it could be off some dance track, or some hip-hop sampley thing...

anyhoo - the best way to describe it is 'dramatic strings'...

any ideas?

Hey, been searching in vain for a couple of weeks now, but am trying to find the name of the song that was on the RTE ad for "April on RTE". Hopefully somebody will remember it anyway as they stopped showing the ad about a week ago seeing as it's mid April now!

Good gracious. Maybe I'm growing old but some din on 2FM the other
evening (and twice in the service station at lunchtime)...
Some sort of headache inducing din about "whose your sexy girl"
with a thumping loop which made me pull into another service
station for a pack of panadol (only to hear the same thumping
loop being regurgitated on some other mainstream pop station).

What's the song/artist (so I know to avoid them at all costs).
Pure noise. Sorry - I'm sounding like my father's generation did
when I was young.. I'm guessing it's something which recently
got into the top20 playlist on yoof radio...

It's Thunderclap Newman - 'Something In The Air' but probably not that version in the TalkTalk ads.

For the zillionth time : Hotel Song by Regina Spektor.
