Have this song on an old blank cassette that's on it's last legs,I've tried the lyrics sites with no joy and going by the words in the song , title,'Sunday morning' on google to find who sang it.I'd say the era is early nineties or maybe earlier and more than likely an Irish or English band.

What is the name of the song in this video, and who is performing it?
Thanks to anybody who can tell me.:)

The tune is 'Ar Éirinn, ní neosainn cé hí' - that might help.
Mary Black did a version years ago, but that's not it.

I think it might be Maria McCool.

Found it on ytube... a band called The Fuze from Galway released 1981 'Its a Sunday Morning' is the name of the song.

I only heard it for the first time here on boards in the snow thread, and I absolutely love it. Thanks again! :-)

I heard a song on the radio today where there was a man and a woman singing and the lyrics were "Hey ya or Hey Yeah" but it was not the Outcast song.

Anyway the girl said "machine gun" during the song. It was one of those R and B dance song types. I know it's vague but if anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.

I found it. It was Laurent Wery feat. Swift K.I.D & Dev - Hey Hey Hey (Pop Another Bottle)

Is there an original song to this? Listen at about 1m30s into it:

Did Coldplay copy this tune for their song 'Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall (2011)'?
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Kf_6BWcOOg

BTW, that music is from an episodes of Tales from the Crypt "The Trap (1991)".

One for the over 40's here but does anyone remember a tune by an Irish synth pop duo in the mid 80's the video was played on MTUSA all the time, it had a guy dressed as Marcel Marceau with some crappy chroma key/blue screen effects, its killing me trying to remember!

Just found out from someone on retro forum, is pretty awful but was only a young fella when it came out, I think the video and vocoder effect stuck in my mind all these years! Some nice shots of Dublin back in the day.

    Hi all,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but if anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Was anyone listening to Phantom FM's Pure Morning between 8:30 & 9:00? I caught the end of a song that sounded pretty good but I didn't catch the name. It had a nice, old style quality to it (not a million miles away from the Ravonettes) and was followed by a female caller confirming that Michelle was right about some wedding cake being put in a freezer tradition.

Sorry I don't have any more details :(

Ask them what their playlist for this mornings "Pure Morning" show was on Facebook

Where? There is no area that I can see to do this? It doesn't look like you can post to their wall, only comment on their own entries.

I don't work there but I would post under one of their entries myself.

Hi. Im Looking for help with a dance song that was released around 1997/98. It had an african sound to it and as far as i know african lyrics. It was a massive dance song at the time and was pretty high in the charts if not number 1. As far as i remember the video had guys and girls dressed as lions. Anyway im hopin someone can remember the name of the song as i need it for a project im working on.
Also this song was used a lot on tv when the 2010 world cup was on in Africa. It also appeared a lot on those Dance compilation albums that were out at the time
If i can get a few suggestions for the name of the song i can check it on youtube.
    Thanks a million
