You drop Waterford and you have no representative for one of the most populous regions of the country, and also a port with huge potential, due to location, modern and improving infrastructure and is as much of a deep port as Limerick.

Foynes, Co. Limerick is the only port in Ireland capable of handling the supersize 'caper' ships. In fact, according to Dr. Ed Walsh, it is one of the few ports in Western Europe capable of handling them.

We'll have another one on the West Coast If they get the go ahead for the new Galway Docklands developement, 40 acres of Galway Bay reclaimed with deep port facilities for 20 cargo ships and ocean liners.

You see, this just points out how crazy the infrastructure in Ireland is. There is already an existing deep sea port in the Shannon Estuary, why on earth is it necessary to build another less than 100km's away?

Same as the airports, why is there 6 airports on the west coast and no bloody dual carriageway or motorway?

I just find the whole thing so frustrating..and every airport should have at least two forms of transport connecting it to nearby cities and/or other airports such as a light rail system and buses.
