Yes, Nature has broken my windshield after a few highway stones weakened it. Expensive.
Have a friend who used to live in Colorado who decided to stop locking his car. It was less expensive to replace whatever got stolen than it was to replace a window every week.

I love canadians! I'm sirprised they weren't just as concerned as you were about having beer for the early morning! Those I met loved their drink! And the day after would insist on champaigne breakfast!
