damn my family for not being here when I've cooked dinner
    work sucks
life has a few too many downs of late
    my hair needs washing
    scrath that i need washing
damn are those clothes still in the washing machine
    I should go to bed
Winter clothes are so much HOTTER in the Paris Hilton sense than summer clothes though that may be an oxymoron
I need to get those boots

    hah you're becoming jen.

Given that I'm about 3 years older, isn't it possible she's becoming me? I mean, I was sailing and drinking skittlebrau and listening to crappy music while she was...slightly younger than me. Yeah! (I dunno. I'm tired, brain no function sleep well without)
    Wasn't he irish too?

Yes, but I've always maintained that his accent sounded forced on the show - like his natural one had faded too much so he tried to overcompensate.
What? Was he having an affair with both Wonder Woman and Batgirl?

That's worthy of at least a two-day ban.

Oh hush up. Twas a brilliant example of the power of the pun. You see, in order for a pun to work, it has to be excruciatingly bad. It is within this that the true essence of hilarity and quality is to be found. Like Arnold Schwarznegger's films of the 1980s. A wise sage taught me that. I'll miss you Mad Dog. For your puns and economicness (ah new words. Lactomangulation, something I think we've all tried at one stage in our lives). He was truly a king amongst men. There are no fines...

I also do withering put-downs Shay, so be careful or you'll find yourself going "Up and Over", "Faster and To The Left" or suffering from "Diminishing Returns" fairly sharpish. Also, don't anger my forward travelling fruit....

I am currently listening to Judas Priest - Love Bites and thinking a) that steak was incedible b) the digestive capacity of my system has shrunk and c) my brain walks from one emotional mess into another. That, and why do I seem to be the only in my family who cares about the welfare/working conditions of others? Lord am I glad I didn't become a BESS student (not because it's crap, but because its economists are generally right-wing).

Neil Young's Harvest. Such a great album. I had After the Gold Rush on earlier. Did **** all and just kicked back to Saint Neil. Beautiful.

It was a great show. Very very clever. Then there was the appalling British version. Somehow, the excat same script just didn't work. Maybe because it was lazy.

Of course you did. I did. Who didn't? She's also got real purrdy hair.

Listening: Bon Jovi - Blaze of Glory

Yeah I agree John great album. As I've said before, I'm not a after the gldrush fan, and i know you find that hard to beleive. I was listening to harvest while I was cycling back from the gym, wasn't really cycling music though. Should have put some prodigy on.

Or Kraftwerk, with them being big into cycling and all.

"Heart of Gold" is on now. Oh yeah...

Not really a prodigy fan. Or cycling. Or the gym. Hmm, I appear to be fundamentally opposed to any sort of energy. Score! I'm anti-matter! All I have to do is wait for J.J. Abrams to call an I'm in the next Star Trek film. Woot! :)

Stop stop, it's all too much. I am but flesh. A mere slave to earthly pleasure. Anyone have any steak?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,923 ✭✭✭Nothingcompares

John - TouchAY. Thanks for reminding me bently I'll take my steaks out of the freezer tonight/tomorrow morning.

Yep, Steak for dinner tomorrow. To cream or not to cream the potatoes. I have some baby potatoes. I was thinking of coating them in olive oil and roasting them.

You're welcome. Even though I assume you're saying it on purpose, it's Bartley. Dang. I have fallen for it hook line and sinker. I had a steak dinner in a steak restaurant. It was yum. The only problem was the nice Dutch waiter was not female. Oh well. I just have to drag my coupled friends to Pizza Hut again. Nothing like a waitress engaging with you in pity flirting. ;)

No problem. People mis-pronounce it on purpose sometimes. The funniest I have heard was my one of my ex-girlfriend's relatives thought my name was "Bartlebub". Quality. Tee Hee. I wish my name had a cool effect like Beetlejuice. But knowing me, I'd squander the magical power on ice-cream and then go wenching. Ah O' Neills. A friend of mine swears by that place. Nothing better than well done pub food.

Hehe Beetle juice is one of those weird childhood films you probably shouldn't have seen about 30 times. Keaton is extra creepy in a kinda pedaphile sense as Betelgeuse and winona ryder is hot

But it is a great film. And yes, she is attractive. I know neither of them are in it, but now I want to see the movie "Toys" again. I've seen it about 11 times and I still love it.

I knew it had to happen soon. you'd have to say something so absurd and plain wrong that I'd have to just say NO. Toys is probably the worst film of all time. It was all going so well. :(:(:(

Retro film in the top 10 = Big.

Add some cherry tomatoes and chopped peppers into the dish with the baby potatoes. *makes delicious gestures*

But I can change, I can grow and I can adjust, we can even have a relationship on IRC if we must...... [Sorry. Had to be said that way.]

What's wrong with Toys? I'm a big fan of Robin Williams and whimsy in general and it seemed like a smart film to me. Granted, I haven't seen it in about 5 years but still.

That food looks so good. I want it so much. You said you're going to be a fourth year next year right? If you live on Campus, I will buy the ingredients if you cook. Even though I once sold toasters for 27 months, I still burn toast. Mmmmm....red peppers.

Ok it's a date. But it's rather easy it's not really cooking, literally takes 10 minutes. Toys was just crap.
