Not watching at this exact moment, but leaving computer now to watch: Alias series finalé. Five damn years I've spent watching that show, and given how much plotty crap they have to tie up in the next two hours, I'm more than a little worried that I'm gonna end up unsatisfied and mightily pissed off. Hmm...

PJ Harvey. I love her. I want her babies. Or something.

Clamber up on stage at EP and tell her that, preferably while sporting the Crazy John2 Beard. She won't get you arrested or thrown out or anything.

Placebo - Bruise Pristine. Apparently Brian was naked while recording the song. Fair play.

I got a cheeky smile from her in the Olympia once.

Don't know that version, must investigate. Is it on an album or is it a "recorded as an mp3 from the telly" job?

I got it as an mp3 off DC++, but it's on the Very Best of MTV Unplugged, Vol II, if you wanted to buy the CD for just one track..it's a good CD though, so money well-spent.

    Tool - 10,000 days

(It's thundering outside as I'm listening to thunder on the track - very odd. Gonna move away from the PC now, don't wanna get electrocuted..)

I hope when (*if*) Tool come here in November that they include "Wings for Marie"/"10,000 Days" in their set. Definitely the best part of that album but unfortunately not part of their sets.

And downloading illegally is bold. I'll find the album cheap somewhere I'm sure.

They better stop off here. If not I'll do something crazy. Like fly to another country to see them. That'll teach 'em. Yeah..

Sorry Ian, no matter what the topic, we always veer off it..in any case:

    Smashing Pumpkins - For Martha

actually if you want a great album, buy any of the unplugged sets. the 10,000 maniacs one is fantastic.

the album didnt seem to go down well with a lot of people, but I quite enjoy it. Used to listen to it a lot, just giving it a resound now.

I'm watching M*A*S*H. Hawkeye has gone to the front to a field hospital where another surgeon was killed. When the wounded are sent from the field hospital to the 4077th they tell BJ that a surgeon was killed. They all think Hawkeye has been killed. At the front, Hawkeye writes his will with flashbacks to his time in the 4077th. A serious episode in case you can't tell.

Agreed, it's one of the best shows ever. That, Twin Peaks and Six Feet Under are probably my top three.

I'm touching everything barring the battery on my laptop. It's exceptionally warm due to charging. Damn lifespan seems to have halved recently...

Ah Twin Peaks. Speaking of odd shows, anyone see Earth: Final Conflict or Prey? Loved them both. Oooh, Judas Priest Out In The Cold. Let's give that a listen...

Though I also love the film - and the two are closely tied as to which I prefer...

The aliens in that used to freak me out. They were just too... serene. Great, now I won't be able to sleep cus I'll be thinking about mild-mannered aliens coming to get me all night.

    Serene, but ABSOLUTE ****ERS.

tempted to watch either some earth: above and beyond, some firefly, that 70's show, or try and restart watching farscape.

goddamn it, i'm out of decent anime.

The Taelons became extinct and were replaced by the Atavus, who were driven solely by instinct. How could you not love those androgynous purple wearing energy based creatures? I thought Da'ahn in particular was cool. Rocked the casbah he/she/it did.

My friend has bucket loads of that stuff. I must give him DVDs so he can copy it all. Hehehehehehe

My favourite anime film has to be Princess Mononoke. Absolutely fantastic. As for television series, I was highly fond of Outlaw Star. I want a Galactic Leyline!
