Well really, what did you expect! Tis the internet! AFAIK Boards has a 90 - 10% male to femalien ratio. Or maybe its 80 - 20 I dunno!

And UL board has a comp sys to 'other' ratio thats extremely high also.

joejoem, I'm working on a synthetic signature pic, sorry for removing Mz. Behar's bemused look .... plus, the allusion to electroacoustic music was a little too politically close to my last horrific experience of UL education! I don't want people to think that everything about UL is bad - far from it, judging by the warm reception I had from the last UL Boards meet.

oh guys i expected it to be a bit better, it is the boards.ie UL forum!...not like the sausage fest that the average irc channel! of course im male! male, computer engineer working in an IT dept....oh god....

also the comp sys smell is a bit strong here, do the math and become an engineer!;)

Thanks folks, for a second and even more enjoyable BULBs meet! I would have stayed on longer, but there's always too much time before payday (now just over a week away) and drinking funds dried up as quickly as petrol on tarmac.

I didn't think it'd be quite as good an occasion as the first, but I guess that having forgotten most everyone's name (except for Peteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ... no conclusions to be drawn there, so move on!) made it seem like the first meet! Indeed, now I find that I don't wish to mention people's actual names as I don't know their equivalent Boards monikers and don't wish to incriminate anyone... not that I got let into any secrets tonight (dammit).

Best wishes and a very happy Christmas to each and every one of you. See ya all real soon, in 2006.
