    still have same problem. flashed new image and all.working. still cant get ftp connection to box. any ideas?

    Try uninstalling filezilla and start again. I have a feeling I had that problem last year.

    Step 1 - Can you ping the box ?

    Step 2 - Can you Telnet to the box C:\> telnet 192.168.x.x (note, you do NOT put any numbers after the IP - the use of port 8888 is when BROWSING to your box i.e. http:\\192.168.x.x:8888)

    Right, so if BOTH of the above work, go to Filezilla, click File > Site Manager > New Site

    Host = 192.168.x.x, Port Blank, Protocol FTP, Encryption Use plain FTP, Logon Type Normal, User root, password blank (or whatever your username and password is - it's different for different images)

    Hi

    tried to telnet but got no route to host on terminal screen.

    i assume ping means connect to net through my router. i can connect to 1channel and watch shows.

    Have you your box connected to the net?
    If you do, are you entering in the right ip?, as in the ip of the box?

    I have booted up in spark. here is what i have from connection

    ip 192.168.1.8

    in enigma i have a different ip

    192.168.1.2

    why is that?

    You said, in the post before this one, that .8 is Spark and you can ping that. This is the ENIGMA Discussion Thread so please decide as to which one you want to use and use the appropriate forum.

    To answer the Enigma question, you said the IP is .2. My guess is that it's a Static (Fixed) IP Address. Go into Setup > Settings > Network > Lan Adapter and change DHCP to Yes. Then I think you will find that you will get 192.168.1.8 also in Enigma.

    i flashed v4 image and that is.working perfect. connected net and ip is .8 on.enigma 2.

    will check ftp in a while.

    My epg info, such as whats on, whats next, etc, isn't being downloaded. I'm using champions image and have set up epgdownloader to automagically do it.

    Did you check out Champs useful tips

    Useful Tips

    CrossEPG
    This is the one utility that causes the most problems for your box.
    1. Check that it is only set to download one of the two OpenTV sources from either 28.2.or 28.4. Do NOT select both.
    2. Ideally, it should be set to save to your external hard disk.
    3. The database can get huge. Consider adding a crontab job to delete your complete /media/crossepg directory every week. The database is constantly being added to. Yesterdays, Last Weeks, Last Months EPG data remains in the database and is never automatically purged - so delete it regularly.
    4. If you deleted it weekly, I believe you can sucessfully save to the internal memory.

    On Hyperion 4
    Kids were saying the have not been able to watch CBBC for a few days
    instead of Children's TV up to 7pm now all we get is a message saying BBC3 gets going at 7pm
    this is on CBBC HD & SD as i had tuned both to get rid of the audio description that kept appearing on the HD version
    Anyone know if CBBC is gone as they have just come back from their freinds house and its the same there

    CBBC has changed frequency
    New frequency is 10773.00MHz, pol.H ,DVB-S, SR:22000 FEC:5/6.
    CBBC HD is 11464 , pol.H ,DVB-S, SR:22000 FEC:5/6.

    I just did a manual scan & pulled them in using those frequencies

    Do you happen to know if there is an AutoBouquets for hyper 4
    & will it work if I have all my channels in 1 favorites bouquet
