Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    This thread goes very quiet in summer. Are you all out saving hay?

    Here's an easy one:

    Name the only non-Commonwealth participant nation in the ICC cricket world cup.

    Right! Two letters were transposed on commemorative stamps so that they read '50th anniversary of the first Irish landing' rather than 'moon landing'.

    Take it away Phileas!

    Good stuff, keeping the lunar theme... According to everyone that has ever walked on it, what does the moon smell like?

    Cheese? Wensleydale or Stilton according to Wallace and Gromit.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

    Sorry. I dreamed up a nice one last night but it escapes me now. Try this one:

    What links:
    Emperor Nero;
    Princess Haya of Jordan (who seems to have done a runner from the UAE);
    King Constantine II of Greece;
    Pál Schmitt, president of Hungary 2010-2012;
    Marcus Stephen, president of Nauru 2007-2011?

    Personally (not that anybody asked me, mind you), I didn't mind the mixture of questions - the more difficult ones made me learn something new, and the easier ones (I mean, the three I managed to guess) made me feel very smart (at a primary school level, but still...).

    Oh, and obviously:

    WELCOME BACK, Rubes. :D
