Brilliant hand speed and accuracy. Footwork excellent. So brave to back himself and utterly negate a dangerous puncher.

Never seen anything like that before, he'll be the biggest name in heavyweight boxing since Ali after that. Great performance in the ring and then singing a song like that, just so entertaining.

    Sober up! Great performance though

Did wilder look alright from the start?

Or did the punch for first knockdown do him in?
Looked like he always does until he got hit.

Even Ortiz was giving him a boxing lesson the last time.

People on about how good his jab is???
He'd have nothing only for his knockout punch.

best by far he has ever boxed, he showed decent power too, and some lads saying he cant punch, hes 19st ffs

Fury is the man. When will he get the credit he deserves. The ear damage was caused by a legal punch. He was destroying Wilder before that anyway, he was spitting blood in the corner after the 2nd. Hopefully Fury keeps it together now, doesn't go on a bender and schools Joshua in the summer.

No, it's just that Wilder just isn't that good!

I've been harping on about this for a long time. The problem with his previous opponents is that they gave him way too much respect, once any pressure has been put on him before he never looked comfortable. His boxing skills are poor.

Just as I thought could happen..his aggression and offence and range was his best defence here. Wilder couldn’t get a second to set..

I don’t think any agreed with me when I said so..

The only man who could be proven right no matter what happened , fury is the king !

He will break aj up as well

Wilder underestimated furys power, u get smacked by a 270 pound guy, you're gonna feel it, wilder was done after the 1st knock down fury had wilder done; chuffed for Tyson but deontay is a warrior, respect

Wilder has been on borrowed time for a long while now. He’s bluffed by fighting turkeys even though he’s game himself. Ortiz was a very safe option for him. He has power and speed but compared to fury zero ring craft.
Don’t get why the commentators don’t think he will exercise the rematch clause. It’s still a huge fight and short route to a belt. At 34 he’s suddenly aging too

    Great result for tyson
His decision to change trainer seems vindicated - he knows what he needs and wants to do pre fights. Same as he knows when he's going to fall off the wagon. I hope he stays focused and fights AJ next and soon. Well deserved win - best come back story in boxing - if not definitely up there. Not only is he winning fights but he's bringing new fans and fans that supported him all along on one hell of a journey. Chap is such an entertainer

Initially I thought even though Fury was winning, he was standing in front of Wilder for too long and was gonna get caught, but wow.

That was a demolition job from Fury. Absolutely unbelievable. The way he pieced Wilder up early, then wore and leaned on him. Used his size, some sneaky uppercuts and a good peppering of body shots. That was a nearly perfect.

correct, and when the other guy is 3 stone heavier than you it makes a huge difference, , furys biggest asset is his size, i think he will beat joshua also, fury is too big and tall and can move, and that will be enough to beat joshua.

A half fit, '"dossing" fury had wilder on toast for 9 rounds in their last fight snd he hurt deontsy a few times or their first go, fury looked fairly poor tonight and still bullied wilder, dubious in a few years will be a serious threat to the division, closest thing to Riddock Bowe since the man himself

There's a bit of that but it takes an elite boxer to show Wilder up like that. That was pure dominance, incredible performance from Fury.

Joshua, for example does not have that sort of performance in him to beat Wilder.

Fury's ability to adapt makes him by far the best heavyweight alive today. He can do it all.

Pity about the weight, Fury's best chance was to box and move.

Surprised with Andy Lee involved to let that happen.

Obviously I know nothing about boxing, delighted for the furious one! Well done Andy Lee.

I’m thinking a Fury KO. Wilder will try to be cautious and not dive in. Fury to pick him apart and make him lose concentration and patience when he is behind. Fury will slip a big shot then get wilder in trouble and finish him. Round 8/9

Not too far away with this one.

28 had Fury by TKO etc at the end of the fight.

Wilder KO's Fury in the 9th/10th round.

Fury got away with it in the first fight. He won't this time. I want Fury to win but all signs point to him panned out on the floor near the end of the fight. With the extra weight he's going to make a mistake and Wilder will clock him.

Those who think Fury will KO Wilder needs their heads examined. :pac:

Ya know what I hope i'm wrong I'd love to see Wilder KO'd!:D

What was that you saying? Who's head?

Just watched it there, really dominant from Fury, Wilders legs looked gone after round 2 and then round 3 finished it. Wilder making excuses about his legs not being right in the training camp etc. He will be looking for a final payday but Fury annihilated him. I wonder if he can take a tune up fight before the rematch, going back in with Fury mentally after the manner of the defeat will be extremely difficult

The talk of June would suggest no. Fury would need to be excellent again all the same wilder can bang if he’s allowed to

Very odd fight, Tyson battered him, every round. I think its tysons body shape, he is as awkward as feck, doesn't do toe to toe fighting. Its actually freaky to watch. My 2 cent after loads of beer !!! :)

It wasn't odd at all. That's exactly how Fury has always fought. He's always been what people call "awkward" but in reality he's actually an excellent boxer. He's naturally skillful.

Completely different style from Fury. I was listening to Andy Lee during the week and he talked about him being more upright, offensive and punching harder but didn’t think he could fully transition to the Kronk style in 8 weeks. Fury is obviously a quick learner!

Also all the judges had Fury miles up so there was no funny business.

It wasn’t really a fight. Wilder was very incapable throughout. Fury did all the pressing and fighting, with very little coming back.

Can anyone tell me the Andy Lee connection ? Was that an overweight Andy Lee in the ring celebrating with him ?

No interest in a 3rd fight after seen that.
    Wilder out of his depth.

Only fight now is AJ/Fury in what would be the biggest British fight ever.

Also, "Sugar Hill, Fury's trainer for the fight is the nephew of Manny Steward, who was Andy Lee's trainer at the Kronk gym

Haha. I noticed that as well. Didn't watch the fight but read the reports this morning. Came on here to check if there were any round-by-round descriptions by those watching the fight and noticed that the "Fury by KO" had increased from 16% to 25% since 1am last night :pac:

Actually I think it just increased there from 49 to 50. Good prediction there number 50 ;)

Anyone look back at KDs, both looked as much off balance-weight. First one was back of shoulder shot type shot..

Second one was lovely body shot. But not a body shot knockdown, ala hurt and in pain. Wilder looked off balance for that, too.

I wouldn't be a big follower of boxing and haven't seen many heavyweight fights recent but I thought the ref was very biased in this fight. He constantly pushed Fury back after a clinch, didn't allow any inside work, he seemed to keep Wilder up at 1 stage by getting in the way and I thought the point deduction was very harsh, Wilder did the same thing a round later and it was allowed to stand.

    Oops, silly phone posted .

I thought Wilder was done early, he was holding onto the rope for balance from an early stage and never seemed to push forward.

His legs were gone after the first one. Stiff Jab followed by a clipping right to the ear.
Not dissimilar to the first KD for Wilder in the first fight.

Fury’s jab was really excellent tonight., powerful not flicking like before.

How have you got Fury vs AJ now?

Yeah and I think Lee was the one who suggested Sugar Hill to Fury.

Fury has 2 fights left on his contract now and they'll probably be his last two fights, by his own admission. Will have won all the belts and Ring magazine belt twice. I wonder if Hearn will try stall on a Joshua fight...
