Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    On Thursday 20th May (Tonight!) we are hosting Writer & Poet Pat Boran. He will read and discuss his memoir "The invisible prison: scenes from an Irish childhood". This book is a memoir of his childhood in the Irish Midlands during the late 1960's & 1970's. You are more then welcome to attend this event!

    Are you a fan of The Wire, Entourage, Damages or Mad Men? These series are all available in Blanchardstown Library. We also have boxsets of Cheers, ER, Fraser, Little House on the Prairie & Scrubs!

    Up to 10 DVDs (a box set counts as 1 item) can be borrowed for a 3 week loan period.

    A fascinating photgraphic exhibition by the Ambassador of The Republic of Latvia, His Excellency Peteris Elferts is on view in the lobby of Blanchardstown Library until Oct. 2nd.

    This photographic exhibition depicts graffiti painted on the wall by Latvians to bring attention to their plight.

    This exhibition can viewed during Library opening hours
