    Dont see why people write off Marlin rimfires so much.
    we headed out to check where the .243 was shooting before sept 1st and i brought the HMR too. Wasn't a strong wind but there was still a fairly average wind there. Group was slightly over half an inch from centre's

    Was up the range last week and decided to see how the CZ was performing at 100 yards. Had the rifle set up for SK Standard Plus. Had the mod on which I never tried with these before and set up the front rest and back bag to really see what it was capable of.

    Rifle = CZ 452 Style .22lr
    Equipment use = Front rest and back bag
    Range to target = 100 yards
    Number of shots in each group = 5 single fed as I forgot the mags
    Conditions. = Calm
    Ammo = SK Standard Plus

    The last shot was the flyer. I was raging as it would have been a lovely group.

    Hit the range yesterday to zero the 6.5 with Sightron scope. Having mounted the scope at home and centralised the scope i set about bore sighting it. From initial checks it seemed spot on so i fired the first shot. It was 1" right and 4" low. Adjusted and second shot was smack on in the bull. Happy days.

    I have shot for years with a 6.5x55 so immediately knew what i wanted top try in the RPA. Lapua Scenar, 139 gr. I also got a box of ammo with the RPA in the form of Remmy Core-Lokt 140gr. So i decided to try three shots from each. I ended up firing four from the Remmy's but should have stopped at three as the fourth opened the group up a bit, but still happy.

    The trigger caught me a little as it's very, very light. I intend to hit the range again in the next week or so to try and get a good session in and see what it does at 200 and 300 as i'm sure it's capable of much better than this.

    Rifle: RPA Interceptor.
    Caliber: 6.5x55
    Scope: Sightron S-Tac, 2.5-17.5x56
    Position: At a bench with front rest & rear sand bag
    Range: 100 mtrs.
    Conditions: Wet.
    Wind: 70% value, left to right, gusting to 18mph, average of 11mph.
    Ammo: Lapua Scenar 139gr, and Remmy Core-Lokt 140 gr.

    Lapua Scenar. 14mm outside to ouside. 7.5mm centre to centre or 0.3 moa.

    6034073

    Remington Core-Lokt. 19mm outside to ouside. 12.5 centre to centre or 0.5 moa.

    Rifle & Calibre: Steyr Classic SBS .243
    Equipment used: Bipod.
    Range: 102 yds (rangefinder)
    Number of shots: 4
    Group size: Debatable
    Conditions: Sunny, light gusts.
    Ammunition: Hornady 100gr BTSP

    I was firing at a patch of mud on the bottom of a box, the third shot is the one off to the side, I couldn't see the first two hits so I fired one off to the side rather than walk down and look, the fourth was in the small group too, That's the best group I have shot to date!

    Rifle seems to like the hornady 100gr more than the 95gr

    So its not a group as i was checking zeros and drops today, but fairly happy with this.

    First shot with the 308 (left) and 223 (right) at 300 yards. Using 150gr Superformance in the 308 and 55 gr V-Max in the 223.

    Using a Howa 223 and Remington 308.

    Conditions. Wind from left to right at about 15% value. Average of 13 mph with gusts of approx 18 - 20. Held off too much for the 223 but got it pretty spot on for the 308.

    That'd be some rig out to 300 i'd say. Have you pushed her further?

    Never shot paper at 300 yards with it, Only use it lamping foxes , try to keep them 250 yards and closer. That's along away at night. Must get out sometime and try it at 300 yards.
