Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Don't talk to me about shipments.

    1) Ordered something online on Nov 30th (seems it was coming from China but the website was Canadian). Anyway, it eventually made its way to "Destination country" (Ireland), where it's been sitting since December 18th. No further update. Not sure who the carrier is (it's not stated in the Chinese tracking site) but two emails to the company's customer service later and still no update.

    2) Got an email from An Post the other day saying DHL Poland were asking about a package to be delivered. An Post tracking said "We have your post in Dublin Parcel Hub, Dublin 12) on December 5th.

Turns out it was a package that I received from TNT on November 26th!

The An Post tracking system is a joke. Not sure how in the world why DHL were asking An Post about a TNT package, but why An Post say they have the package 11 days after it was delivered.

Mod - The Chinese package seems more relevant to this thread.

I think from reading a lot of the threads here, their idea of destination country and yours are different. Some of their post seems to route through Eastern Europe. You'll probably find that your shipment is sitting in Lithuania or somewhere like that that they use as a transit point.

The 2nd one is strange. Tracking references are usually quite different. It could have been a re-used waybill number, but they wouldn't normally be similar.

It's been through the transit country. Here it is in all its glory.

^^^ You can not believe everything you read on international tracking sites.

Try your reference here: - https://track-chinapost.com/

Some cheap Chinese posting don't offer tracking outside China.

what is the format of the tracking number? the last 2 characters tell you what the destination country is.

It starts with LP and ends with 50. Fourteen digits.

that is Cainiao Super Economy shipping. I've never found the tracking on those in any way accurate.

Mine showed up on Sunyou tracking with more details, you can manually select it on 17track app or just visit their site. It was shipped with Cainiao super economy and was the last to be delivered with no tracking once it arrived in Ireland.

Two items arrived today, one ordered November 17th, the other on Christmas day. Pretty happy with that!

Have a few small bits accepted by last mile carrier (presumably an post) on the 15th of this month, had hoped that meant they'd be arriving imminently but from what I'm reading in the last few pages I might be in for a long wait still?

I really hate how some deliveries use different phrases, my latest order seems to be stuck at (port of departure- Departure) cant for the life of me find out what that means.

I really hate Yanwen so annoyed seller used that

Looks like mine is stuck in customs since Saturday?

I will wait for another few days before following up but anyone know would you contact to locate the parcel?

Be careful about "arrived at destination".

That was showing for me on the Aliexpress app for something I'm waiting for - "Your item has arrived in your country".

When I tracked it using the GOT link in the app it showed that it had arrived in Liege (for ultimate handover to PostNL).

Ive something stuck there since end of nov

Next update will probably be "handed over in bulk, to be confirmed". But once it hits PostNL it's fairly fast.
The last 2 that arrived in Belgium came by train through Kazakhstan.

I have 7 packages ordered with Aliexpress standard for 4 and China post for 3 so we'll see which route they take and how long too. All AliExpress standard are LTxxxxxxxxNL format and all just handed over to airline.

Want to order a few bits from DHgate. Can I still use Parcel Motel NI address or are they no good now with Brexit?
